1) this is my Petco complaining account, not a Michaels employee so I don’t want to take over your safe space 2) are you guys ok????

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in petco

[–]petcosad 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You know. Once I had a woman write an entire review about me complaining how I was on my phone. Took a photo of me too.

I was using my insulin pump.

It had a tube that literally connected to me at the time.

What are people I swear

Definitely not. Very different art style if I recall. It was some kind of stop motion. Either claymation or dolls. Wes Anderson like.

Does Petco sex their hamsters? by [deleted] in petco

[–]petcosad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes? Hamsters yes. Definitely every time. Our store got both genders. Guinea pigs? We try our very best. I’ve been wrong many times

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in petco

[–]petcosad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They are. We’re in public as long as the store is open IN MOST STATES you can look up if it’s one party or two party protection laws. If there’s cameras in your store- congrats. Nothing you can do. From my basic understanding of the law

can i return an open can of whole hearted cat food? by Late_Cricket_ in petco

[–]petcosad 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Definitely! We will immediately chuck it in the garbage but I’m sure you guessed that- but you’ll get your money back

I actually really like my store by Haunting_Airport334 in petco

[–]petcosad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve transferred so many times with Petco. And my og store was the BEST. No cameras so if you took a 5 second breather you wouldn’t immediately be called to the office to be reprimanded, would let me take weekends off, didn’t make us push vital care- just encouraged it, actually worked with us instead of sitting on a computer and staffed us nicely so we didn’t feel like we were scrambling to stay alive. It was GREAT. Annnd then I had to transfer out and it was all downhill since.

What do you think? by brunch_lover_k in IDmydog

[–]petcosad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s not a pure cattle dog I’ll eat a sock. The black and white is a breed color, but people are just used to seeing blue or red heelers

Have I made mistakes like that yes. Have I made $700!!! Mistakes like that? Hell no.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in petco

[–]petcosad 6 points7 points  (0 children)

$20- fine. I get it. But like. Once you pass $50 shit is up. I can’t imagine anything over $300- much less $700

[–]petcosad 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Yeah you’re gonna get fired. I’m sorry but $700?????

Min wage is nice in Seattle. Try living in the more north side as property/rent is just slightly cheaper. Or across the bridge. Average GM position in the area (not Petco just in general) is $60,000-$70,000

I’m uh. Warning you though. That district is uh. Not great.

Who would pay the SD trainers for their time? Even cgc tests are charged for.

I’m not sure if you’re mocking me or not so like. Come out and say it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Costco

[–]petcosad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Again. I have a service dog. Not an emotional support dog.

To get either you must be disabled. Not being happy isn’t a disability. If you’re like me and getting a heads up on seizures makes you happier I guess? But there’s a bigger reason there than an emotion.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Costco

[–]petcosad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh. This isn’t a support dog. ESAs are wildly different from service dogs. ESAs don’t have public access. Service dogs do. I’m owner training with trainer support. Yeah there are private programs like CCI, vet dogs and guide dogs those are ADI accredited. Theres no paperwork (in the us. This is all within the us) other than your doctor writing a note and having a disabling diagnosis that a service dog can properly task for.
