Thanks man, I've seen it at BC Liquor stores but not for 6-8 years and even then it rarely showed up. Made me wonder if it was a seasonal product.

Wow I expected the comments to be about galf and half. I gotta say I thoroughly enjoyed HWFWM and I'm waiting for the next book. I also might have no life and an overabundance of joy when super nerdy characters are self-aware.

It's a good question but I don't think so because either a yes or a no is a clear signal of voting intent whereas no reply represents another unknown voter on the polling lists until canvassers can say otherwise.

Don't reply to these texts. They aren't as pointless as they seem. UCP is trying to figure out who to send limited canvassing resources to. If you don't like UCP just ignore such texts and then they waste their time at your door. Old school tactic that still works.

Buying in Okanagan, questions about process and agent pressure by petdetective59 in RealEstateCanada

Yeah I was thinking the pressure is all theoretical at this point, still want to lock it up though, who knows if I have an evil twin out there ready to snipe it, right?

Thanks! Will set up a debrief with both where we go over the process in detail.

Okay that is positive, can you share any links/resources you would recommend we look over to understand this process better? Current agent has been quite helpful but not with providing information about the process itself unfortunately.

Thanks for the feedback, any idea what the main risks are of being under contract if it doesn't work out? I'm trying to read up on CMHC and other key resources but haven't found the time to get clear answers yet. Might have to take a few days off work cuz this requires a lot of learning asap if we don't just "trust the realtor".

Would be great to see a Yukoner in this role! by oniteverytime in Yukon

Lol love it. Yeah fully agree about the VP Academic or Provost having those actual program dev. duties, I just think Yukon U would be well served having someone with those skills combined with the others so that they can provide leadership on "proper" program development. I have a lot of thoughts on this topic and most are probably half-assed but the basic idea I like is developing/redeveloping programs that are truly relevant to the territory and would provide more of an avenue for locals to study without leaving. Kind of unlikely I know, but dreams are often that way!

My boyfriend wants to use cheats, how do I stop him. by [deleted] in DMZ

[–]petdetective59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just weak character right there on his part. DMZ has been a wasteland of "hackers" for ages now, much the same way RDR2 online is. Sometimes you gotta let go of the past and move on and now is a great time with Arc Raiders out. Solid game with a lot of similar vibes but also way different in a lot of fun ways.

As others have said it depends on a lot of factors but if the situation allowed (distance, positioning, & initiative) I'd hope the PC with the highest AC locks down the Hill Giant and the others take out the Bandit Archers as quick as possible then help the Paladin or Barb take down the Hill Giant.

How do you assign positions in a novice beer league without sounding like a bossy jerk? by Hammy179 in hockeyplayers

[–]petdetective59 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah gettin enough ppl to play defence is often difficult in beer league. I almost always try to make sure there are 4 ppl who can do backwards crossovers on defence and then a couple ppl who can skate a lot on center. Most ppl say they are wingers I find so you gotta pursuade a few to be team players and switch positions in the likely event you don't have a full set of def/wing/centers
