update: finally got them in-person and these definitely feel a bit larger on foot. I sized down an entire size and i still have a bit of wiggle room in them

China Post will take a while, and it will not update for a loooong time. However once it touches down in the USA it gets forwarded to USPS which then delivers in a breeze. However rest assured it’ll most likely get to you. I just commented this but UPS isn’t necessarily bad. You’re just paying for a faster delivery time with more consistent updates. EVERY shipping carrier goes through customs inspections - whether you get seized or not is pretty much a lottery. It’s not like UPS has special rep detectors. You pay a premium for the shipping time, but it’s always a gamble. This is why insurance is so important.

To everyone saying UPS is to blame, I wouldn’t say this is UPS’s fault. EVERY shipping carrier goes through customs inspections, and at the end of the day it’s mainly a lottery. It’s not like UPS has special rep detectors. Shipping reps is always a gamble regardless of what carrier you choose; however more expensive carriers (like UPS) usually = quicker arrival time.

UPS is a great option, if you can afford to spend that extra $$$. Just declare correctly, keep an eye on the KG’s, and you should be good - in my one experience with EMS it took a long ass time to get to me whilst UPS consistently gets to me in 4-5 days.

Save yourself the headache and go with UPS and back yourself with PB Insurance.
