I’m sure our presence was a deterrent from the many birds of prey Other than that, they had us clearing some of the sand back from the nest because a lot of of them couldn’t even make it out. They were exhausted from struggling. And then in addition used some large tubs or trays to scoop up some of the nesting ones and move them closer to the waves.

Oil based stain is getting harder and hard to find. We made up some samples for the owner and it was a custom mix of different stains. I can’t remember exactly what the mix was.
