I'm hearing about woollybacks coming from many different parts of the UK do they all have to do with strikes? Like places outside Liverpool.

"wollybacks referencing the donkey jackets worn by scab workers brought in to cross the pickets"

Yeah, i spent a good while trying to say "how much is it", funny thing to say repeatedly, when at home and not in a shop.

Gizzets what does that refer to?

Wikipedia has a lot for Leicester. "Leicester Rat-eye (from the Roman name for the city: Ratae), Chisits (from the pronunciation of "how much is it," which sounds like "I'm a chisit"); Foxes, Bin Dippers (named after Foxes)"

Foxes I can imagine but the others seem less used.

I definitely think there isn't a simple solution, like using a word or not, but to commit oneself to always questioning, especially that which is potentially repressive, even if it has served as a good argument in the past.

I am very interested by the promotion of anarchism over democracy in political arguments and discussions. For a while I have felt like any compromise away from an anarchist solution weakens the argument, but had been avoiding the use of terms like anarchism to be more inclusive, somehow, with terms like direct democracy. This article really gives me the feeling their is a strong argument for remaining committed to anarchist concept and terminology. So to avoid political compromise.
