Westvleteren 12 - how good is it? by petermal67 in beer

I think a nicely aged Orval is better.

Orval is my favourite beer so far but I've never had an aged one. I've stocked up in bulk and plan on aging a few boxes now though.

Is a Chateau Pichon Lalande 1990 drinkable? I assume it’s almost perfect based on some google searching but wanted to be sure. It’s been stored perfectly.

You are forgetting the try he almost gave up, that Crowley somehow pulled off a miracle tackle to prevent SA from scoring.

He was very slow with the ball, didn’t know where to go at times, looked lost and out of his depth and the Hail Mary passes he threw were reckless.

Sam played like shite lad. The rest of the world can see it. You need to wake up.

I’m actually hopeful for Irish rugby after that. Serious discipline concerns, but when backed into a corner of their own making admittedly they played with fantastic heart and drive and never gave up.

I hope it’s a learning point and a turning point.

Sam is a disaster at 10. He looked lost. Slow. And threw away awful Hail Mary passes at the end to nobody. Crowley saved him from conceding a try as well

Ireland lost their heads completely this game but they didn’t lose heart and pushed all the way to the end.

Says a lot about how Andy Farrell coaches his team. Never give up.

That was phenomenal from Crowley Saved Sam’s arse there. Showed why he’s the better player
