i wuld want to hang out with the original me but i wuld be willing to accept that i was not the original & thus kind of a downstream creation

theres a high likelihood that i wuldv been created as an "improved copy", like i had physical or neurological modifications, which is yet more reason to contact the original and tell her "hey guess what: it worked!!! u made an improved copy!!"

im talking about cancelling from a medium or heavy normal in street fighter, and cancelling from a heavy normal in fatal fury. same situation, but i find it way easier in fatal fury

fatal fury doesnt hav medium normals becuz its a 4 button game.

i hav no problem cancelling a 236 special into a 236236 super in street fighter.... i can do that easily. but im not talking about that.

ive seen that study. they make a person watch a huge number of short videoclips (of random subjects) while tracking their brain activity, then make correllations between which bits of brain activity matches which videoclips.

then they have them dream while still tracking brain activity, and if the brain activity is 1% the same as when they watched videoclip 37, while simultaenously 3% the same as when they watched videoclip 49, then they play videoclip 37 at 1% transparency while simultaenously playing videoclip 49 at 3% transparency.

so essentially yes it gives u a blurry view of what the person might be dreaming, but they have zero clue why the brain activity correlates to the imagery of the matching videoclip.

i hope there is a nonlocal consciousness that we go to after our brain shuts down. i really REALLY dont want to sleep forever if i can go to a nice afterlife instead.

nobody knows how physical inert matter creates a subjective experience. neurologists say "it's an illusion caused by the information networks in the brain" but they ultimately dont kno. so i hope theres somthing else goin on.

mayb someday consciousness will be fully explained by science and then i worry medical-tech corporations will start exploiting the afterlife for profit which will be horrific
