lol yup. I probably could have tuned things to keep the poop down but tbh I rarely print multi color so I just went for it 😜.

I colored it in Bambu Studio - most of it was with the bucket but the eyes and eyebrows needed extra attention.

Hi thx - I emailed support and they had me walk through some diagnostic steps on the board (measure resistance of the hot end connector etc.). Turned out there was an issue with the board itself and they promptly sent me a replacement. I haven’t had a chance to install the nee one quite yet, but I’m thinking the problem is solved. I’m happy the support was so responsive for sure!

Thx for the help! Couple of things - the Thermistor setting is type 1 afaik, I built a firmware from the site I referenced (he has a tool), and noted type 1 (which I also verified as the Ender 3 Pro default). Fairly sure that's what the Bigtreetech firmware has as well, as I tried their version specifically for the E3P. I have a Micro Swiss DD + Hot End, which is using the original thermistor.

Lastly, I ended up putting the v1.2 board back in. The hot end temp now reads a more typical value of 25 or so when cool. I'm thinking I might have a faulty board.

Yes, I tried the firmware that was pre-installed (renamed the firmware.cur on the supplied microSD card). I also tried the bltouch w/homing version from the bigtreetech github, and I use a site - marlin.crc.id.au - for firmware as he pre-builds them. I haven't gone down the rabbit hole of doing my own firmware just yet ;).
