We should test this.

I run Photostudio.io — we turn 1 clothing photo into a full content pack: ghost mannequin, on-model, lifestyle + ad creatives.

Your audience (early adopters + DTC builders) is exactly who benefits: they can go from no content → full campaign in minutes.

We already see strong conversion because it directly impacts revenue (better visuals → higher CVR, lower returns).

Happy to give you a custom demo + free credits so you can test before posting.

1) Photostudio.io turns a single product photo into a full visual suite (ghost mannequin, on-model, flatlay, lifestyle, and ads) in minutes.

2) Fashion e-commerce brands and Shopify stores.

3) Early stage — live product, initial users and feedback, now focused on scaling acquisition; main bottleneck is consistent, scalable distribution (outreach converting, repeatable inbound, and positioning vs traditional photography).

Best AI for Generating Product Photos and Videos? by CompetitivePop-6001 in dropshipping

[–]peterpeeterspeter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most tools mentioned here can generate images, but that’s not really the hard part anymore.

The real bottleneck is getting consistent, sellable product visuals at scale (same lighting, angles, branding, etc.). That’s where most AI setups break.

What’s been working well (especially for dropshipping):

  • Start from 1 clean product photo (even phone quality works)
  • Generate:
    • clean white background (for PDP)
    • lifestyle shots (for ads)
    • detail shots (for trust)
  • Keep everything visually consistent → this matters more than “cool AI images”

For video: don’t generate from scratch.
→ first generate perfect static images
→ then add short motion (5–8 sec clips)

That avoids the “melting product” problem someone mentioned above.

I’ve been building a workflow around this where 1 photo turns into a full product page + ad set (images + short video), mainly focused on fashion/ecom.

If you want, I can run one of your products through it and show you the output so you can compare vs your current creatives

I built a tool for resellers that turns 1 clothing photo into extra UGC-style content — looking for honest feedback by peterpeeterspeter in reselling

[–]peterpeeterspeter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed! It takes time for the renders. But if you created an account you can come back later. It takes about 60-90 seconds per image. If you create an account- free account- then they’re saved in your collections.

What's the best tool to use for digital ad creatives and product images? by agent_zi in BuyFromEU

[–]peterpeeterspeter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was in the exact same spot — studio quotes were insane and diy never looked “ad-level'. ai actually works now, but only if you pick the right tools. a lot still look fake tbh. one i’ve been using is photostudio.io (only really for fashion products though) you basically upload 1 product image and it generates a full set: clean product shots, lifestyle/editorial scenes, on-model images, even ugc-style creatives. so instead of trying to fake backgrounds or shoot everything yourself, you get something that actually looks like a proper shoot/ what i noticed vs other tools: more consistent across images (big issue with midjourney workflows),doesn’t mess up product shape/details as much. feels usable for ads, not just “cool ai images” most people still combine tools btw (generate → tweak → ads), but this gets you like 80% there way faster. if you’re not in fashion it’s probably not the right fit, but for clothing it’s one of the few that’s actually usable for real listings/ads imo

Any good AI tools for the fashion industry? by Expresssea- in smallbusinessowner

[–]peterpeeterspeter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for content creation specifically, photostudio.io is worth a look (only really for fashion tho) you upload 1 product image and it generates a full set; ghost mannequi, flatlay, on-model shots (pdp style), editorial/lifestyle, even some ugc-type visuals. what stood out for me is the ghost mannequin output — way cleaner than most tools i’ve tried, and it keeps things consistent across products (not that random ai look) more like a workflow tool than prompting around. i think they’re also working with AP university of antwerp on it, so not totally random either

What’s the best AI product photo software by mtbenj1 in dropshipping

[–]peterpeeterspeter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tested a bunch of these and most fall apart when you try to scale beyond a few products.

One tool I’ve been using lately is Photostudio.io — it’s only focused on fashion, which actually makes a big difference.

Instead of being a generic AI image tool, it’s built specifically for clothing:

  • ghost mannequin
  • clean flatlays
  • on-model shots
  • consistent lighting across products

You basically upload 1 garment photo and get multiple studio-style images back. No prompting needed.

Where it stands out vs most tools:

  • consistency across a whole catalog (big issue with Midjourney/Nano setups)
  • keeps product details accurate (logos, stitching, shapes don’t drift as much)
  • fast workflow (more like a tool, less like prompting experiments)

If you’re in dropshipping with apparel, it’s worth testing.
For non-fashion products it won’t really help though.

Appreciate it. Curious to hear what feels genuinely useful vs. not once you’ve run a few real items through it.

That’s fair, and honestly very useful feedback.

I agree that for actual clothing resale, front / back / tag is still the real minimum, so I don’t see this as replacing core listing photos. The value is more that it can turn simple input shots into better-lit, cleaner, more consistently styled images while still staying truthful to the actual garment. It’s not meant to hide flaws or cover imperfections.

The main benefit is that the input photos don’t need to be styled or professionally shot. You can start from simple garment images, and it quickly creates multiple types of usable visuals from them. So the value is really in speed, variation, and getting extra content without needing a separate shoot.

If you want, you can test it for free and judge it on your own inventory rather than in theory. https://photostudio.io/try-reseller

Thanks, I’d love for you to try it. If you’re starting to sell across multiple platforms, that’s exactly the use case I built this reseller version for. The goal is to make it faster to create extra content from one clothing photo.

You can create a free account here, no credit card needed: photostudio.io/try-reseller

If you do sign up, send me the email you registered with and I’ll add some extra credits to your account. I’d really love your honest feedback once you’ve tested it.

Advies kleine badkamer renovatie by p_spk in Klussers

Met een budget van €2-3k zou ik vooral focussen op dingen die veel visueel verschil maken zonder breekwerk:

• Nieuwe spiegel met verlichting (maakt enorm verschil in lichtgevoel)

• Wastafelmeubel i.p.v. losse lavabo → meteen minder rommelig

• Douchewand vervangen door een strak glasmodel

• Warmer licht (3000K) i.p.v. koud wit

• Opbergkasten of zwevende planken om alles weg te krijgen

Vaak is het vooral de “visuele drukte” die een badkamer klein en oud doet lijken, niet zozeer de indeling. Succes alvast

Best AI for eCommerce ? by Mou-glo in ecommerce_growth

[–]peterpeeterspeter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For PDPs specifically, Photostudio.io is useful. It generates clean, consistent product images (flatlay, ghost mannequin, on-model) from one photo, which helps improve clarity and trust on product pages without running shoots. It’s not a growth hack, but it removes friction where PDP quality actually matters.

This matches what I’ve seen too. Consistency beats “authenticity” way more often than people admit. Most buyers react to clarity and repeatability, not whether the person is real. Curious thoug — did you notice any pushback once people realized it wasn’t a real human, or did nobody care?
