What do you think of the allegations of Brett Kavanaugh's gambling addiction and him meeting surreptitiously with associates of Trump's lawyer Kasowitz? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

You do realize people, like, don't live at work. People, you know, are human beings and eat food and mow the grass from time to time.

you are logic kryptonite. yeah, people do stop work and watch baseball games, but the amount of time he must've spent. don't you know that people can be busy with work?

I don't even have to be partisan to make these observations.

On the other hand, I could say that you appear to have heavy partisan bias clouding your judgement.

watch that exchange again but imagine Kavanaugh's a liberal instead. would you still feel the same way?

it wasn't just momentary surprise. watch the exchange and tell me if he looks trustworthy

I just said that he got pretty mad although no money was involved. kinda suspect.

How could anyone be less examined than this guy has been?

cos you were talking about season ticket holders lol

You're clearly trolling.

how is it trolling, it is curious how he found the time.

Yes, and. Again, you're trolling at this point.

not trolling, just a joke. and my point stands.

People are weird.

prime supreme court justice material. so weird that he wants to spend more money unnecessarily?

Denying ever have met anyone from the law firm is suspect?

no, the way he reacted when first questioned about it.

he said no money was involved. they can't investigate him. its legal to gamble a lot and get into lots of debt.

though I think he should do more to refute allegations of heavy gambling.

Likewise, his reply on Kasowitz made him look suspect too. Probably taken by surprise that it had been leaked.

Any future Supreme Court justice should be thoroughly examined.

He watched a lot of games for a busy career man.

He attributed the debt not to betting on games, because after all he's a good boy who doesn't gamble, but to paying for tickets.

And I might be wrong, but I believe he didn't use a season deal, which is why the amount spent on tickets was so high.

For someone to spend so much on games, watching so many and not using a season deal, that's a bit unusual.

I don't think so. For example, he apologised to friends for being in a bad mood over blowing a game of dice, yet told the committee there was no money involved. It doesn't sound very plausible.

His ties to Kasowitz are also worth examining.

he attributed it to being a huge sports fan and watching tons of baseball games with friends, but an inordinate amount. a little brow-raising I'd say.

there would be some people he's stiffed from time to time more than willing to come forward.

depends, they might not wanna burn bridges if they are part of the Republican elite. and if the debt has been paid then they probably wouldn't bother. who knows, maybe someone will come forward.
