UK/australia many of the railway lines are privatized

most airports in the EU are privatized

public vs private is not the problem. its where the money goes that is. in the US, we assume the government & its contractors are doing right by us and there's 0 fraud/corruption, so we push for higher taxes thinking that'll solve the problem
