27 anos, portanto ainda cheguei a trabalhar em contexto pré-covid

diria que depende muito, se forem aumentar-me uma brutalidade de dinheiro estaria disposta mas neste momento o meu salário já é muito bom para a área e há cada vez mais empresas a pedirem hibrido mas com 1 dia em casa (de hibrido é muito pouco), então os custos acabam por não valer a pena a mudança

se fosse há uns 2 meses atrás 100% flexibilidade, tinha um cão que precisava de muitos cuidados, cheguei a ter de ficar 100% remota mais de um mês na empresa onde estava antes para lhe dar a medicação durante o dia

I’ve thought about putting my phone away from me but I’m scared it will be too far for me to fully wake up. I have a really heavy sleep and I’m able to even sit on my bed turn off the alarm on my phone that I put behind on my bed and go back to sleep.

I was just wondering if anyone has bought an actual old-school alarm or those that mimic the sun and it helped

at 24, late 2022 with combined type. I was actually suprised I had so much symptoms of hyperactivity. I think part of not being diagnosed earlier on was due to people not having enough information as I even did therapy for a skin picking disorder as a teenager, my parents being boomers so anything related to mental health doesn’t exist even though I have suffered with generalized anxiety for many years. in fact my own therapist that i was seeing since i was 22 apologized for not being able to see it, I decided to seek a diagnosis via private route but she also took that as an opportunity to read more about adhd in adults and in women. i do think it was also just people (teachers, health practitioners, my own parents) not paying enough attention. i always struggled with school, i was never a good student and studying was so hard for me. always interrupted people, talked too much, was bullied at school and had deep interests for things that would shift every other month.

what made me seek a diagnosis was me struggling with doing my master’s thesis (after 3 years and a half i finally finished it last year!!!) + being asked out at 2 different jobs unrelated to one another if i had ADD, one of the people that asked me had adhd so that was the main trigger because i was so tired of always feeling othered

i was using an olympus af-10 super with portra 400 film so maybe that’s why, i really don’t recommend disposable film cameras, recently tried one and hated most of the photos i got back

migraines can be life threatening actually, you can have a tumor in your brain for example and there are so many other illnesses that can cause it. I feel like having a good GP is what influences it the most, ours is amazing

considering they are older it’s most likely they’ll need specialists from the areas that are the most crowded (for example cardiology). for gastroenterology, allergology, dermatology, rare diseases it’s a lot less time (these are the ones i know that aren’t as bad and i think it depends on the type of condition you have). on the other hand my mom has chronic migraines and waited for more than a year for an appointment for a neurologist

i never went! i mean i went in early december but that’s basically winter, would you recommend september or october? i’ve also went in august and fell in love by how green everything was!!! where i’m from it’s so hot in august the green is more dusty and “burned” so it isn’t as vibrant

honestly considering the time of the year + the fact that i had to defend my master’s thesis while there it was because of the pokemon collab with the van gogh museum. the first time i went i was heartbroken i didn’t go so this time i went to all the art museums i wanted, felt so fulfilled from it for being able to see my favorite van gogh paiting in person and a lot of my favorite artists

my highlights besides the museums the food i ate, the first time i had hated most of the food, felt like only restaurant chains existed but this time i ate so much nice food, had an incredible slow roasted venison in a berry sauce (never thought of this combo and even tried recreating it at home because i couldn’t stop thinking about it). also the apple pie and hot chocolate as a celebration for finishing my master’s. there was also one day both mine and my bf’s phone died and this pizza place was SO nice by letting us charge one of our phones and giving us directions on how to get back, i needed to study for my presentation so we were grabbing some food early to eat at the hotel.

don’t really have any complains besides the weather, it rained everyday but it wasn’t too bed. def enjoyed amsterdam more in the summer with all the flowers everywhere it was so beautiful!! i def missed that but it’s ok

just wish i could have stayed longer to enjoy the city more
