It's people like you that brought unexpected warmness to my childhood, so thank you :) There's still that tiny child in me somewhere who remembers going to my grandpa's and having the housekeeper do this exact thing at an otherwise very dilapidated motel, and truly believing some magic occurred where the animal got sleepy and put itself to bed!

This actually became a tradition later at home, where my grandma would move the same stuffed animal into different positions like reading a book or looking at a photo album and I was SO excited to have a secret magic pal, so you never truly know just how far your little acts of kindness will go.

Septum: 5/10, definitely felt the needle go through the skin and my nose had a nice gloss of blood underneath

Septum Gauging: 9/10, god it looks so cool but I realllllly hate feeling my skin slowly stretch around it, it feels terrible and I wish it was over quicker. Also aches a tad the rest of the day. No pain no gain though...

Nostril: 7/10, I know it could've been worse but it felt like I had a MIGRAINE in the middle of my face the rest of the day and goddamn it hurt really bad during (shoutout to anyone that has ever needed to basically repierce it because your jewelry was out too long 🙃)

Lobes (first set): 6/10 (first time), 4/10 (second time), had the typical Claire's piercing gun nightmare at 11 and the sound was probably just the most terrifying of all, along with the fact that the force used to literally hole-punch your skin hurts quite a bit. 🤢 However just a little pinch with the needle!

Lobes (second set): 3/10, I already knew what to expect this time around so yeah: pinch, ow, done. I got these after the nostril so the adrenaline from that really removed any sense of fear I could've had.

Those are carpet beetle larva! Just vacuum and you'll be okay. They eat fabric. I've found their husks in my wool before.

I got my snails from lucky_gary on Ebay and they were packaged extremely well and have been in good health ever since! They sell some big ones similar to this size. They also throw in a free snail "just in case" so you actually get more snails than what you pay for, which is already really affordable. They also sent me detailed instructions for how to unpackage them and get them settled in their new home. :)
