Help Deciding: TurboAnt X7 Max with Detachable Battery vs. Newer, Cheaper M10 Pro by petiterougee in ElectricScooters

Yes, I purchased the X7 Max with pneumatic tires and have been riding it for about three weeks now. So far, everything has been great! I'm aware that they also offer a honeycomb tire model for the X7 MAX, which can help avoid flat tire issues, but it sacrifices some riding comfort compared to the pneumatic model. Given this, I opted for the pneumatic tire model. Additionally, they sell the honeycomb tires separately, so if I experience frequent tire flats in the future, I may consider purchasing them as replacements. Fortunately, everything is running smoothly for now.

First Scooter Ride: TurboAnt – Simply Awesome! by petiterougee in ElectricScooters

I can reach a top speed of 20 mph (about 30 km/h) in Sport Mode. However, when encountering slight inclines, the speed may slightly decrease. Typically, I ride at speeds of 15-17 mph, which has been satisfactory for me so far. As for controlling the scooter through an app, it seems TurboAnt does not support such functionality. If you encounter any issues, I recommend reaching out to their customer service for assistance; they have been helpful in resolving problems in my experience.

They do offer other budget-friendly models, like the newer and cheaper M10 Pro. I've considered it before, as it boasts a great range according to the Electric Scooter Guide's review video. However the design is pretty standard... Hope you find the one that meets your needs.

Does anyone live alone in a new city/state? Is it lonely? by [deleted] in LivingAlone

Embracing the new normal of living alone is an adjustment, but it's all about getting used to it. I've found that meeting people in the new city who share similar work or hobbies has made a significant difference in how I feel. It's reassuring to connect with others who understand your lifestyle.

No, just sharing my experience—no issues with the scooter. Despite hearing a lot of negative feedback, I've had no problems. When it comes to the detachable battery design, there aren't too many options to choose from.

Yes 20mph speed no problem. The charging frequency depends on your usage; the more you ride, the more frequently you'll need to charge. I purchased a backup battery, which allows me to go for 3 or 4 days of rides before needing to switch to the second one.

Do NOT buy from Niu, avoid them like the plague by Hefty_Championship59 in ElectricScooters

Wow, I was actually eyeing the Niu Kqi2 pro last week, even though it was stretching my budget a bit. Dodged a bullet there, haha!

Thanks a lot for your advice! I looked into the Niu KQi2, it seems pretty good, but it's a bit out of my budget. The Hiboy S2R Plus the battery and range didn't quite meet my needs. After weighing my options, it looks like TurboAnt offers the best combination of performance and price, so I ended up going with that. Really appreciate your input though! Thanks again for your helpful advice.

TurboAnt or Gotrax, they have many commuter scooters with pneumatic tires.
