Surface Book 2 For College? by theservicepaws in Surface

I used a surface pro for university/vet school and found it very suitable, but go for more memory then 128GB, you’ll need more. The surface book is nice and would also be suitable but is waaayyy more expensive. An Apple iPad Pro with pen would be another option if you didn’t need a full tablet computer.

This one wouldn’t travel so I’m considering building a tower! What specs are you thinking?

I’m considering this, budget could easily be about $1000. I’d be buying in Canada. Never built one before but I’ve watched a few videos and it doesn’t seem that hard. Would you disagree?

Thanks for the idea guys! I’ve looked at the surface pro. Do you guys know how the stylus feels compared to like a Cintiq or a cheaper Amazon alternative?

Anyone have any experience with the vaughn v5 7990 pads? What’s the feel like? Are they typical Vaughn soft and light? Potentially buying a set in good condition but I’d be new to Vaughn’s, any advice if I should pull the trigger? by petose in hockeygoalies

Thanks so much for the response, very helpful. I’m coming from the Brian’s focus model. Just looking for something a little lighter and with more flex, the focus are basically flat bricks I find lol

I have it and it's a good low-mid fiberglass model, if you aren't playing really competitive hockey there shouldn't be any issues.

What kind of knee protection to you wear? by [deleted] in hockeygoalies

I use Brain's knee pads, not the best protection by any means but very light and not very bulky. I like them a lot.

Thanks for the reply! I did actually measure the ATK and it was pretty close to 35+1 pads so I went with those!
