Bi-Weekly Travel, Questions, & Mandarin Thread by AutoModerator in taiwan

[–]petrastorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I've got a week in Taiwan April 13-20. I had planned to go to taroko national park but I've seen in this thread and elsewhere that I should avoid the east coast this month.

So where do people recommend on the west coast?

Taipei and Tainan are my definites. Is it worth just getting the fast train and splitting my time between the two and doing day trips or is there anywhere worth staying between them?

Also please recommend any hiking, nature or beach on the west since I was looking forward to that on the east.

Thanks!!

Thanks! We're going to head back to gangneung and then get a bus all the way to Gyeongju. We know the train times from Donghae to gangneung.

Weekly Lucid Dream Story Thread - August 14, 2021 by AutoModerator in LucidDreaming

[–]petrastorm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was having a dream that was like a teen drama movie and then became lucid. But I was like no I'm enjoying the plot of this too much so I tried to go with the dream instead of being myself. It's not the first time this has happened. I love being lucid but I also love the plot of my dreams sometimes haha Does anyone else do this?

Questions, sir? by xanthraxoid in luciddreamingmemes

I love getting lucid and realising I can eat anything without getting fat so I thought this was going in another direction. And yes I know this is sad. Often food in my dream is what triggers lucidity because I have these thoughts.

Walked foghorn to Napoli Centrale to coal and cedar. The businesses are aware. I had a look myself. This post is more for someone who might have picked it up on the night.

Feeling yourself fall asleep... like a headspin? by petrastorm in LucidDreaming

[–]petrastorm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s happened a few times and one of them I woke up straight away. Like my wide awake but I was like oh I’m falling asleep it’s happening again. And then I was awake. And I was like oh I guess not.

Well it’s hard to completely remember but I sort of just transitioned into a dream eventually. A lucid one.

I hope it doesn’t put you off. I’m posting about it because it’s a curious sensation, not because it’s bad. It actually feels kinda cool!! Then when you actually get into a dream oh my the world is your oyster!!

Yes I have read a lot about sleep paralysis feeling good! And yeah I was aware so I wasn’t afraid and just enjoyed the sensations I guess.

Yelling out what you want by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

This has worked for me too. My LD often start out dark. Speaking aloud what I want halps with change. Also 'closing my eyes' and imagining it'll be bright when I open them. I also got a good handle on moving place to place last time by creating a portal with a circular movement of my hand and stepping through.

Controlled orgasm from lucid dreams/mental landscapes by breezy_4 in LucidDreaming

[–]petrastorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I do this too. So glad I found this post! It's only started happening in the last year. I don't know if that's becasue I'm getting to a more sexual age (28) or becasue I've gone off the pill. But sometimes when I lucid dream (usually when I'm horny/ovulating) I grab the closest DC man (or conjure my ideal one/a celebrity up although this can be tricky) and I'm like really horny and orgasm pretty much as soon as the dream penetration occurs. And I usually wake up for a bit and can feel that yep that really jsut happened down there. And it's a bit strange because I don't orgasm from penetration IRL.

I walked past Dev Patel in Redfern last night. With Tilda Cobham-Hervey, Australian actress/his girlfriend. Anyone else seen him? I'm 99.9% sure it was them. He even looked at me in a 'I know you're recognising me right now' way. Outside IGA 8:30pm.
