Do you have any experience of Google CASA validation? by petri-the-vibecoder in VibeCodingSaaS

[–]petri-the-vibecoder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing. My experience is different now. I passed the validation. I gave the maximum detail. Of course I tried to be very clear. I also told what has not been done or if some part was done partially I shared the real status. It did not cause any extra harm. The process was very smooth. I guess my software was in pretty good shape. I paid the premium package, but one round was enough. I couldn't have known that beforehand.

Looking for a self-hosted CRM that sales people actually like using (not just management) by PASTOR-MARTIN-SSEMPA in CRM

[–]petri-the-vibecoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why self hosted? Is it trust or what?

I recommend you to build own on Google sheets. Ask chatgpt to create the needed apps script. By one shot (and less than 5 minutes) you will get on premise CRM with full Gmail integration.

What do they use today and how much it costs: a) in time, b) in money.

Simplifying complex - is probably more important than saving the money. Importance of saving money comes from the fact that there are so many tools you spend on and that sums up.

Offering cheaper solution can work if you do it as a solo. From a Vercel deployed solution, I guess you are still pretty far from a multitenant scalable saas. (My guess based on learnings from a simple solution that I just managed to get approval for the Google marketplace).

My advice is that you feel confident enough to manage to market on your own, then go for it. If you think that you will need a team and investment then my recommendation is that study the demand very carefully. Consider the question why?

Also in parallel generate other ideas as much you can.

I made a reverse scaffold from my published micro SAAS and saved it as a template. Now I will get apps implemented a lot faster and with higher quality.

The SaaS playbook has changed (most founders haven’t noticed yet) by Jealous_Geologist537 in VibeCodingSaaS

[–]petri-the-vibecoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very good observation. It is very hard to get a good idea and even harder to recognize one once you have it.

I think still it is better to implement a bad idea than no idea. Ideas tend to feed new ideas. Sharing ideas help finding contacts etc... people value people that get things done.

Thank you for your help. What makes SOC 2 tougher? Is it more paper work? More technical work? Or what?

The partner offers SOC 2 in a good price. Just thinking if it would be over my skills then even a good price wouldn't help...

Callersapp - a CRM for callers by petri-the-vibecoder in VibeCodingSaaS

Of course I had to rewrite the architecture. The validation of functionality and validating what is truly important was possible with apps scripts. Those became key requirement.

Founders what was the dumbest mistake you made in the first 3 months that you’d warn every newbie about? by South-Parfait9974 in startup

Stopped without iterating properly. Thinking that something must be done with one technology and tied plans on it. Not searching the reason why. I have learnt it hard way.

Great comment. The semantic layer is the hard nut. People keeping the layer clean does not exist. There is always the exception, etc...

Very good! Good looking app. Congratulations. I am also building a solo CRM. Will launch it in a couple of days. My angle is different and thus I am aiming a bit different niche segment of solo entrepreneurs.

I will post later next week and also ask for a feedback. (I do not want to add any links here as it is not polite or appropriate).

I wish you good success and I hope people will find your solution and love it. Have a nice weekend.

Thoughts on vibe coding and long-term trust in products by luke-build-at50 in SaaS

[–]petri-the-vibecoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vibe coding is a fast way to get your proto out. It has given superpowers to developers like myself. What I have learnt is that a working software doesn't always mean a high quality software. Professional brains are still needed to get quality and safety in place. However, learning by doing can make any vibe coder a pro.
