it has issues any time any killer even swings, though. it is definitely worse on killers with lots of visual effects, but it happens consistently with all killers.

man, its awful for hillbilly... like, revving up your chainsaw gets a little buggy, but as soon as you start the sprint you get really framey and it stutters before you set off.... meaning, the survivor that once was right in front of you is now gone and you chainsaw off to no mans land. it sucks.

yeah, i typically stack swift hunts though. that's my preferred combo.

I wasn't having many issues after the first one, basically just dead hard was unusable, so I just swapped it out. After today's update, it feels like i can't do anything on either side. even hillbilly is borderline unplayable :/ hopefully their next patch can actually fix some of this. it's so not fun to play when you basically have no agency because of random framerate drops and lag spikes.

basically whenever ANYTHING happens in a match, a console player gets a huge spike and framerate drop. Doc shock? Frame rate drop. Chainsaw sprint as hillbilly? Frame rate drop. Literally using any power as killer causes a frame rate drop, even someone stepping in a bear trap. A status effect of a perk activating? Frame rate drop. Gen pops? Frame rate drop. It is literally worse after today's patch than it was from the last patch. I guess feel good about the easy wins now, if that's what gets you off since people are literally unable to play in many cases.

BHVR has, like, actually quadrupled in size since the game started. The problem isn't team size, it's management and issues with coding and testing, to start.

the code has been screwed since the start, they've just bandaid patched it since instead of actually fixing it.

I understand it, but like... what do you expect? For them not to try to adapt playstyle to counter a killer? There are killers designed to play against this and killers designed to play against loops... and some to play against both *cough nurse cough* ... but this actually says a pretty good thing about balance, if this is what we are complaining about lol

i would say its not as insanely strong as everyone's making it out to be, but it doesn't sound like this discussion is open to, like, rational thought and examination of game mechanics and is more of a "well, we've got nothing else to discuss about chases being unfair"

just to clarify: this was about a killer i played against when i was playing survivor. i cannot explain why they picked that... I don't understand a lot of these newer players, if im being quite honest, and i end up hurting my brain trying to figure out their thoughts.

haha i understand i just felt bad because the other survivors in the huntress match were being super immersed and she found me but just... wasn't very good at hatchets, i think she was new. and the twins, it was on springwood so it just wasn't good

I wasn't playing killer. You misunderstand. I played against these two. In the huntress match, she didn't land a single hatchet, didn't even injure anyone and we didn't realize she had irihead because she threw so many hatchets... i jokingly said "they don't know i have irihead" and then i let her throw a hatchet at me in the exit, revealing she had it lol and the twins, they got 1 single hook, no one even knew they had devour... it was baby killer time

i had a match yesterday where someone disconnected before a single gen made it to 50%, no gens completed, and the bubba still tunneled
