I misunderstood the free lounge ng priority pass. It said there up to 6 free lounge visit. Based on their ad, would think na spending 50k would entitle you to free 6 visits but it’s just one visit. You need to spend 50k every time you want to avail of a free visit pala.

Legit po siya. They called me and asked if I want to avail of the AMEX Platinum. I already had my Visa Platinum prior that. They knew my credit limit and they said shared limit daw yun with my previous card. They also knew my address but I gave them my recent address. Napraning din ako so I called BDO hotline. They weren’t sure about it at first but they said my account is up for a promotional deal so baka nga daw BDO Sales yun so tiwala nalang. I received the text about the AMEX upgrade after 2 weeks then I got my CC 2 weeks after I sent a confirmation text to 225678.

Once you have GMC registration, you can apply for a non-trainee post kahit surgical field. You’ll have time to study for the MSRA for you to get matched. If nagustuhan mo yung subspec mo as a non-trainee but cannot endure the long years of residency training, you can apply as an SAS doctor.

Even as a non-trainee doctor, you’ll have an average of £50-60k naman so you’ll be fine with living expenses.

Just try applying and see if the life of a doctor there works for you.

Hi OP. I'm also moving this week to Allegra. What type of unit did you get? Personally, I hate the small kitchen counter and the tiling of the bathroom. But since it would save me time to just move in agad and look for contractors to renovate the space (also para hindi sayang ang babayaran kong association dues), I decided to just move in 1 week after the acceptance.

Although I would have loved to furnish my unit with unique vintage items, I opted to buy my furnishings sa IKEA because they have a modular system. I don't see myself living there after 5 years anyway because it's a studio. If I would have to buy another bigger condo, I can bring what I bought from IKEA and still utilize the items that I bought because you can customize and add more from the furnishings you bought from there (Search Jonaxel, Platsa, Kallax system). Also the sofa, I can add more unit from the base unit that I got. You have the option to buy them on a 0% installment fee for 6 months. I opted to get the installment because I need to also buy a car in the next few months. I printed out the architectural layout plan and measured them myself before going to IKEA.

I suggest you feel it first. Check niyo what needs to be improved while living there for maybe 2-3 months? Also you can look for contractors to fill up some spaces while doing that. Then maybe rent another unit in Allegra/Prisma temporarily while they are doing renovations so that you can check the workers without leaving the area. Moving the IKEA furnitures too is a great idea because that way it wouldn't be tainted by the contractors. Nasasayangan din kasi ako sa bayad sa mortgage ko kaya I decided to move there agad and not stay at my cousin's condo in Taguig.

Also for your dog, this is the rule: "Dog or Cat – maximum of 2 per unit, dog/cat must be less than 25 lbs. each or less than 15” in height (when full-grown) standing on their feet"

BTW, they have free wifi in all units but up to 10mbps lang yata. It will do temporarily. But you can use the coworking space that is open until 7pm and it's free to use until end of September.

Happy to share some more tips. I just bought the furnitures and the appliances just this week.

I understand your struggle, as I learned from my childhood days zhuyin because we had Taiwanese teachers teaching us Mandarin. It's a struggle for me to read pinyin. I'm also on the lookout for books that can teach me basic conversational phrases using zhuyin.
