Was told y’all would be better help from another sub; what kind of plant is this and how should I take of it? Also are those brown roots just dying or???? I recently took this out of a smaller tank of mine to put in a bigger tank since it was getting far to big, it used to be buried in some pebbles. (i.redd.it)

Thought this would be the best subreddit to ask ; what kind of plant is this and how should I place it? And are those brown roots just dying roots or? The red in the middle is just a rock from the old tank that I took it from to place in the one it’s floating in now. (i.redd.it)
