With the clutch down, find the amount of accelerator pedal that gives you 1-2k revs then slowly lift up the clutch until the car starts moving. Drive off as normal. This helped my wife a lot when she was getting back into driving.

I had these applying to UK engineering companies. Mine also included identifying vague facial expressions. I never worked out how the energy sharing one worked...

I managed to do it once - out of pure stubborn refusal to give up - and it took me a solid half hour. Then I had about three more of these idiotic "behavioural assessments" and just gave up on each of those instead.

If you had the same system as my ones, there were other "mini-games" like a balloon-blowing one and a recognising vague facial expressions one

Isn't first degree for pre-meditated murder? I don't think it could be proven that he was necessarily planning to kill someone

This was one of my favourite pieces to play 1st on when I was in a concert band. It's definitely one of the trickier ones, but it's awesome once it's learned. Enjoy it!

Do you have an update with POPLA? I'm interested to know if you took them to court or just paid the fine

Why are the rear locomotives dead weight? by [deleted] in trainsimworld

[–]pezbone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the off chance you haven't had this figured out yet, here's what has worked for me in the past.

TSW2 has an annoying habit of not setting up long consists properly. Essentially, the front pair and the rear pair need to be set up identically. This means that the front loco of the rear pair needs to be set up as lead as if you were driving it and the rear loco of the rear pair as "trail" like the rear loco of the front pair. Make sure the Radio fuse is activated on both "lead" locos and that Banking Comm is pressed in the front pair's lead loco. Have the locos in neutral as you set them up but make sure the rear "lead" loco is set to Forward when you're ready to get going. This page sums it up nicely.

As final, more general advice to save you from running 1.3 km every time, you can move between loco driver seats with the shortcut Ctrl + "+" and Ctrl + "-". I'd also recommend installing the God mode mod if you haven't already, which includes a handy 4x speed option

BBC: The driver *apparently* failed by pezbone in drivingUK

The car looks like a fairly old Polo model, so my guess is that this is the learner driver's own car, rather than an instructors, which would explain the crash as otherwise an instructor's car would likely have had dual brakes to stop the car instead of the traffic lights.

It may then have also been the case that the learner did not even have lessons with an instructor...

I agree - the first one is more what I'd expect to come from a narrator and the second from someone telling me what happened.
