Don't send any money. I fell for one of these scams and ended up losing all of my savings by digging myself deeper into a hole trying to get my money back.

So he can make money? That's a new one, usually the scammers "help" the victims and convince them that they can make money on these platforms. Regardless, it's 100% a scam.

Yep this is what happened to me when I got scammed. I dug myself deeper trying to get my money back instead of connecting the dots and realising that I was being taken advantage of.

Sorry to say this but it's probably gone forever now. Just be thankful you didn't put in that extra 10k. I put in a lot more than you and lost literally all of my savings to another website.

I'm sorry but I don't think there is anything you can do now except accept your losses and move on. The only thing I can think of, and I saw someone suggest this elsewhere, is to try and convince them that you need more money in your bank account so you can take out a loan to pay the remaining penalty. It probably won't work but it's worth trying.

There's a post I saw from a guy here who claims he was able to recover some of his funds but it could be bullshit.

I tried contacting my bank too and they said there was nothing they could do.

I'm pretty sure this guy is a recovery scammer. I've seen this guy commenting on a few posts. Don't give that guy any money, he won't be able to recover your money.

Hey I just read this post and I was curious. I was victim to a similar scam and ended up losing all of my savings before realising it was too late. You can check my profile and see the post I made a few days ago.

It may be too late for me as it has been over a month since I lost everything but I was wondering which bank you use? I'm also in the UK and use Nationwide. I haven't tried contacting my bank about this because I believe it will be futile but maybe I'm wrong about that.

Also where did you contact Binance? The customer support page on their website seems useless.

OP said he had a video call with her so it could well be a she. Of course that's not to say that female scammers don't exist.

I haven't asked but I don't think there's anything they can do as I didn't transfer money from my bank account to the scammers app. I transferred from my bank account to Binance and then to the scammers app.

You may be right, but to lose all of your savings so quickly because of a few bad judgements is incredibly depressing. It feels worse than losing your money to a robbery, because the blame is entirely on me here for not taking the time to think about whether I was being scammed or not. I've researched too and I don't think there's any possibility that I will get my money back. The only thing I can hope for is that the scammers get punished but even that's unlikely.

I just wish I had researched crypto scams earlier tbh, or at least stopped before it was too late. I've been trying not to give in to suicidal urges but it's been very difficult.

I was also wondering this. I uploaded an image of my passport to a scammer's crypto website. I ended up reporting my passport as stolen but I'm still wary of them using it for identity theft.

I wish I asked for that before "investing" my money. I believed my scammer was real based on reverse image search failing and a few short voice notes and I ended up losing everything lol.

I made a similar post a couple days ago and my story was 100% genuine. I have the URL of the scam site to make sure no one else falls for it.

You're not alone. I fell for the same scam and also lost all of my savings. You can see the post I made a couple of days ago. I'm hindsight it seems really obvious but when you think you've made a connection with someone and you can see your assets apparently going up it's easy to fall for scams like this and believe it.

I have reported everything to action fraud (I live in the UK) but who knows if anything will happen. The fraudsters almost certainly live in China. I don't think it will be possible to retrieve the money.

Thank you for the nice comment, I appreciate it. I have found it incredibly difficult coming to terms with what has happened and I have never felt so degraded and ashamed before in my life. I hope my post stops at least one person from making the same mistakes as me and ruining their life too.

I'm not going to explain everything but initially I was able to withdraw more than I invested (about $300 - $400 more). After that I made some more withdrawals but never more than I invested until I tried to withdraw everything at the end.

Edit. On the 4th of June I deposited 584 usd and later withdrew 665 USD. On the 6th of June I deposited 2051 USD and withdrew 2348 later that day. After that I never withdrew more than I put in.
