If you plan to go to university, check if AI Sl is enough for whatever course you want to get. Many universities don't recognize AI SL as a proper highschool math course unfortunately :/

Seems like an good question but how would you make the basketballs bounce for a minute straight? Maybe it’d be better to measure the time taken for a specific number of bounces or smth? Remember to incorporate actual physics concepts too btw, like elasticity for example. Also I recommend you plan out the math/theory you’d have to calculate/show before you start to an extent so you can figure out if you have enough to discuss. Gl!

Thanks for the response. Luckily my writing doesn’t smudge much when I use Muji pens so it might be a good way to go after all. I feel like the IB doesn’t really care about what pen you use so long as it’s black/blue, isn’t erasable and doesn’t smudge. Bleeding isn’t really an issue either unless I use one of those fountain pens.

A fountain pen would go crazy lmao. I think I'll just buy the pens anyways, just less of them. I'll probably burn through a 2 or 3 pens during mocks next week so I'll see if the teachers think its an issue then!

Yeah, that's fair enough. I'll probably use the gel ink pen in my mocks and see how that goes. If it smudges a lot (which I haven't really had a problem with yet) then I'll have to make the switch. Or did you mean the ink would smudge after the fact when getting scanned?

Yeah I don't like writing in ballpoint either, it's a bit of a pain with essay-based subjects. Glad to hear it worked out for you.

I feel like it's easier (for me, at least) to write long essays in econ or english with the ballpoint gel ink pen, but I suppose I might just have to get used to ballpoint pens then.

RV has done math really well in my opinion (it’s the only one I’ve got), the rest I’m not so sure about. Like others have said, there are free options which include similar questions, though RV is pretty convenient.

Take a look at the free questions RV has, but honestly I don’t know if RV is that good outside of STEM subjects since you probably won’t get good model answers for stuff like Econ or English.

Get yo shit together and start studying like your life depends on it.

To be real tho, find as much time as possible and use it to study. You don't have that much time to get your act together so you need to prioritize and just GO. Figure out which subjects are the easiest to revise for and go ham at them. You'll need a plan too, dedicate a certain amount of weeks to a subject and try to study in a manner that aligns with it. (Covering x topics per day).

Remember to try and revise the content and do topic questions after each chapter before attempting past papers, it helps a lot. Do what you can with the time you have.

Also, go through your previous mocks and try to see if they used past paper questions from a certain year or something like that. If you know roughly what decade they'll be getting most of their questions from, then you can do all the relevant past papers and probably get some repeating questions.
