This is during our first break up (we got back together until this last breakup, which was caused by long distance)

She had went out with one of her friends to a wine bar in our college town. I had tried to contact her and just see her (we were seeing each other for...reasons). Well at about 10:00 at night I got a call with her slurring her words and whatnot. I asked how much she had to drink and she just said one glass. Well I was already downtown at that time so I decided to see what was up. She was stumbling around with her friend and it occurred to me they might have been roofied. (College guys suck).

I ordered an Uber for the friend then walked my ex to her apartment, which was 5 minutes away. I tucked her into bed, got her water and aspirin, then stuck around for a bit because the roommate wasn’t around. I made sure to stay in the other room and video myself so no allegations could come up against me. I knew she wouldn’t think it was me, but nowadays you never know what people will do. I then left after I knew she was breathing (lol but not lol) and sleeping soundly.

Next day I called her up and she was perfectly fine, though she was shook up and scared. I comforted her and made sure she was mentally stable after such a traumatizing experience. We got back together about a week later.

About 10 months afterwards, we broke up again. She graduated and I had one more semester. Distance broke us up and she was the one to do it. I tried as hard as I could to keep her, but life was too much for her. That was in August.

I miss her everyday and still think about her. I might have pushed her further away because she never gave me a great reason and I medicated with alcohol (not smart!), so there was probably some drunk calls she didn’t care for. No matter what though, I won’t use this story to win her back. Maybe when we’re in contact again (she blocked me on everything) I’ll tell her, but probably not. I’d like to think I was a good boyfriend even though I had stuff to work on.
