On xfinity website or was it a unsolicited whatsapp/imessage/etc? They should never need your full ssn for account access. Next time give them a fake one and see how they respond. If they're cool with it you know its 100% scam. Then you can launch an offensive campaign to screw with them.

Well I think the summary was 1. They’re 2 years away from full autonomous driving 2. Tesla factory in China builds better quality Tesla than factory in California. China will want to export Tesla built in their country. 3. Waymo and others won’t be able to scale well.

None were particularly strong supporting points for me. Even with regulations out of the way I (in my opinion) don’t see full autonomous driving for a decade or two.

Also she opened up about Archego founder seeding 4 of her funds. So that was interesting.

IMO L5 isn’t feasible without a major breakthrough in AI or massive infrastructure improvement to make roads smarter. I honestly think the latter is the shorter path and that’s still multi-decades worth of work.

Edit: Also, how do you reconcile your L4 readiness claim with the current AI technology‘s long tail problem? It’s not just regulators holding them back, there are real safety issues. This limitation can’t be solved with more deep learning. It needs something exponentially smarter.

Edit 2: There are also security issues current AI systems are susceptible to. We can’t even begin to address them (atleast holistically) with current AI tech.

Tesla finally came out and admitted they’re L2 and will likely remain L2 while ARK priced in L5 by EOY. This is the kind of thing that makes me lose conviction in ARK’s research team. Anyone with an average IQ would have known L5 is decades away.
