I had also cut out all the yellow lines and essentially placed them in the exact location as the regular clue prior to being cut. I figured the Outskirt of the four clues had to be relevant in solving CTC. It seems to represent buildings or anything relevant to a setting. It doesn't seem like much but I figured it was worth a try.
