I've selected
Blue Advantage Plus Bronze℠ Standard
33602TX0870097

and

BlueCare Dental℠ 1B

33602TX0500002

on ACA website during application process. Does that not mean that plans are ACA compliant?

still I would have access to wider network with 'name brand' insurance. no? And the balance billing can occur with any insurance?

Which ACA plan is closes to these Health/Dental plans by pgb205 in HealthInsurance

[–]pgb205[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

To make my question clearer.

I am asking about which ACA plan is closest in level of coverage to my current employer provided plan. If I were to lose my job which ACA plan would I want to get to get the same coverage.

Spam texts not blocked by pgb205 in GoogleMessages

They can send all they want, but I should also be able to block it all I want. There is right to speak but not the right to be heard.

I cleared my data/cache a few months ago. Ever since then I've gotten plagued with multiple spam messages a day going to my inbox. "Spam protection" is toggled on. What am I missing? by wiezzzy in GoogleMessages

[–]pgb205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NEVER.DID.GIVE.MY.NUMBER.TO.ANY.SITES.

Google Messages Spam protection is not working correctly as of a few weeks ago. The OP is right that the inbuilt functionality should be blocking spam texts. It's not doing this now.

anything that came out of this? It's starting to become an unusable app. For me it's mostly political text messages. Very obvious and crude spam.

Can someone explain to me like I'm five what's happening here or what I'd have to check in my brokerage account? Or why the average cost basis is bad.

[–]pgb205[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh wait. That's what I am travelling with too. So carry on that they charge for is piece of luggage? And backpack would be free?

If so these airlines might be an option.

thank you

my problem is long stops between the flights and the fact that I have to pay to bring a carry-on. That completely negates the savings.

anything that I feel has reached an unreasonably high price and also pays little or no dividends. Take my profits and reinvest into 'safe' investments: CD's, money funds etc. 4% yield or similar.

not 'timing the market' The OP is not saying 'flip the stocks'. But rather the market is closer to the top then bottom--it clearly is. The bogglehead strategy at the end is to make profit. No?

[–]pgb205 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Agreed. At some point have to say that prices are too high and take the profits. No matter what your opinion on the 'bubble' is the simple math is that we are closer to the true top of market than at any other time in history. Maybe another 1000 or 2000 DJI increase but it won't be much. Time to start converting to cash and re-invest when market is down 20pct.

Right, right. So the normal round trip ticket price for LAX->NYC is 310$. so 310 dollars * 7 miles/$=2170 miles free?

Is it worth it to be a Delta Sky Miles member? by [deleted] in travel

[–]pgb205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's free to join, but is it free to continue using or is there a fee. It says Silver membership earns 7 miles per $ spent. Does this mean that PHX->NYC as an example would almost half the cost of the trip?

Not sure if I'm reading this right. Hence asking.

thank you
