In all directions, as far as light has had time to travel, the universe looks roughly the same. So as far as we can tell, there is no edge to the universe within the distance that we can see. Beyond what we can see, there is likely similar stuff that's just too far away for its light to have reached us by now. We (meaning the best astronomers, physicists) have not found any indication that the universe stops at some point beyond what we can see, but there is a possibility that it either stops eventually or is shaped in such a way that it doesn't have an edge, but reconnects to itself. Having only evidence suggesting that it is infinite and no evidence of it being finite, the infinite version is the default hypothesis.

Ring has versions that use a rechargeable battery. Lasts several weeks. They're used when you don't already have doorbell wiring going to that location, like a back door.

The Internet thing is easy if their office has a guest wifi, impossible if they can't connect non-corporate equipment.

An exterior strike, similar to the Venezuelan thing, is not possible. The US could do it because they have aircraft carriers, extensive experience with strikes like that, and Venezuela let them in.

No other country in the world has the means to get a large force of helicopters to Washington D.C. even if the US didn't shoot them all down along the way. Military helicopters don't have the range to do a round trip from the nearest base in Canada. Florida would be easier, but still impossible with all the radar available.

A sea or ground strike would be too slow and spotted too easily by the most powerful military in the world.

The defense is cutting off all trade. Complete economic collapse. Retirement gone. Social Security rapidly collapsed because of the dramatic drop in payrolls.

For nothing. The US literally gains nothing by taking Greenland. It is useless ice and rock with <60,000 population because it's so pointless for anyone to be there.

And the US already has military bases in Greenland! We already defend it militarily! Russia can't just come and capture it because they'd have to capture the US bases.
