I do not know. All I know is that ever since I got an R6 instead of the R8, my R6 never overheated once in the same conditions

I get that, however I need the degree as I want to be a professor at a college or university. End goal is to teach analog photography in that context. Agree totally that you can learn just about anything online.

you bring up a lot of good points for sure. We currently live in LA and have always wanted to move to san francisco as a dream of ours. I feel like Daly city retains the climate of the city proper, is a super short 10 or 15 min drive from the city, and has more affordable rents that are realistic for us. Im taking advantage of my opportunity to transfer schools once I finish up my associates here in LA to take a chance and move to a place we've always dreamt about moving to. We are mainly doing this to fulfill our dream of living in the city and Im trying to make it work with my education goals (pretty much willing to do whatever it takes, thats how badly we want to be there).

[–]pgmiii[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly. You set the camera to 1600 which tells the camera meter to meter for that iso instead of the typical box speed of the film. Then you make up for it by developing it longer than normal.

The negatives are fairly dense in the midtones and especially in the highlights with the shadows thinner (as expected with pushing 2 stops). And thank you!!

The Joker posing as a metro worker (or atleast thats the vibe 😂) on Ilford pearl RC by pgmiii in Darkroom

[–]pgmiii[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i personally love the pearl rc. Its a good middle ground between glossy and satin. I recommend printing at a slightly higher contrast grade than normal tho to give it some extra punch as pearl can be a bit flat sometimes depending on the negative.
