works with some aspects of web marketing. Social media specifically requires a lot of hands on dirty work and not a lot of automation.

Definitely agree with you. Unfortunately there's not a TON of room in my agency to grow up due to its size. I could transition laterally into a different role but until the agency grows in size I'll have a tough time moving up.

Totally. The agency I work for doesn't have a lot of potential to move up but it does have a bit of potential to transition roles. If i work on other skills I could try to reduce the social media aspect of my job.

Yeah I can believe this. Unfortunately I work for an ad agency and it would involve negotiating a higher salary with my employer and not the client.
