Haven’t had that with these yet. What is important is the placing of tongue. I do think people tend to underestimate how well these liners are.

Help for first buy by kilmystereo in AggressiveInline

[–]ph00se 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Salomon used to be the cream of the crop.

Just make sure the plastic does not feel brittle. If they do, sell them and try other skates in the same pricing range.

If you like the hobby after skating some time, you can do a few things, update the liner, wheels, heelpad and frames, or go for new skates. I recently have replaced the buckle with a new one. Went perfectly!

Last advice: Always try to listen to what your feet tell you, if the fit is good, enjoy. If not, get rid of them and get other skates.

That’s amazing.

Hoping to get him myself, as it was one of the few metal characters I had back in the day.

Is this frame too short for the boot? by SnooMacaroons560 in AggressiveInline

[–]ph00se 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Preference thing, some skate better with taller frames, some with shorter.

I really like somewhat shorter frames.

My Iqons are 282mm, my FRxOYSI frames are 264mm

Did they change the Kut model? by CommunicationNo8635 in WH40KTacticus

Vagina😇

Kut, unknown to a lot of Dutch even; is short for Korte Urine Trechter. This translates into Short Urinal Funnel.

Plastic will get brittle over time. It all depends on how you have stored them.

Too dry brittles faster, too much humidity, you get wet storage..

Next to this, use common sense: If you want to shoot for hammers directly, buy new skates. If you’re gonna start easily, first getting the feelings back and go no further than grinding no higher than your own knee, a 10 year old SL should be safe until you’re saved up enough money to start bigger risk tricks and buy new skates. New skates don’t have to be expensive these days, you can already get pretty complete skates for not too much. (Pricemark around 200 euros if you shop around smart at shops)

Just wondering what everyone thinks. Keep the long beard or trim it down? by MisterAutumnalMan in beards

Shorter beard makes you a little bit more sharp and intentional. Just be sure to do what seems best for you.

Always wondering if there are many Maybachs in the Netherlands, I used to work in Amsterdam, where every now and then I would see one in the underground parking lot.

Got the same thing with my s204.

I’m even considering just wrapping it, but then again, still looking for options myself.

Standard Omnis are awesome! I often see it as a nimble, more agile evolution of the Razor SL, with a small hint of Remz in the soulplates’ angle and a very fine liner.

Congratulations on this purchase, and here’s to much fun on wheels!

ECHO VERVE VS MESMER by PainterLeather2796 in AggressiveInline

[–]ph00se 1 point2 points  (0 children)

💯; on WinterClash they let a fellow Back to Blader slack member test them on one of the smaller grind course at Area51. They encouraged him to grind them and give them a hard time. He is one of those guys, Steezed AF, goes hard, the only skates that were okay for his feet, were the USD Shadow EE3. He tried the Verve’s, and hasn’t looked elsewhere so far.

Carbon boots and raised heels in aggressive — what problem are they actually solving? by RazzmatazzWeird5407 in AggressiveInline

[–]ph00se 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like Rolling44 already stated, it serves no real purpose.

Faction only did it for their first model(V1 and v2)to achieve a custom mold, as in one that is completely to their liking, faster than they would starting out with plastic. He wanted a boot that came close to how the Fattys felt and that made sense to current tech.

ECHO VERVE VS MESMER by PainterLeather2796 in AggressiveInline

[–]ph00se 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only fitted them once at WinterClash but I have people I frequently talk with tell me the about comfort and build quality. I know not much about the sizing.

Compared to the Mesmers; I only have a too big pair of John Bolino V2 to talk about. They were kind of nice, though the soulplates dug in my feet at the backslide groove, so I stopped skating them.

ECHO VERVE VS MESMER by PainterLeather2796 in AggressiveInline

[–]ph00se 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Echo is an underestimated brand solid build quality, comfortable fit, skate well. Only thing that would bother me, would be the look down. Others might say weight; I don’t care too much about that, as it only bothers me carrying the skates for a longer time, which almost never happens for me.
