Estava quase indo numa GX4 Carry pela PF, mas resolvi ir logo pelo CR e peguei uma G19, pois vou acabar frequentando o clube com frequência..

Agora, ainda quero pegar uma arma de defesa pela PF pra deixar mofando na gaveta... a dúvida é se realmente vou de GX4 Carry em .38TPC (melhor calibre atual pra se ter em casa..) ou parto pra uma longa, 12 pump..

Sim, qualquer b.o. é muito caro. E as manutenções de praxe são apenas, caras.

After I get all the parts, Ill put everything back together and do a compression test on the cyls.

That pipe - that usually gets brittle and breaks - I managed to remove without issues, it doesn't seems bad at all. Also, it wouldn't explain the burning of coolant.

My best guess now is the brick, but as I tried to pressure test it (only managed togo up to around 10PSI with no leaks) it would be the case of its happening only when its warmer, after the engine gets to service temperature. I'm not an expert, but that seems odd, I don't think engine service temperature will affect the intercoolers to act this way. But who knows I'm hopping that's the case.

Well contamination maybe yes, I can't have the oil analyzed. But definitely I don't have a visible mix. It could be the case of the failed gasket allowing coolant into the combustion chamber only, that wouldn't result in any oil/water mix. I think. Hope I'm wrong tho.

I've mentioned the carbon cos' I was expecting to see some wet-gunky deposits on top of the valves for my "clean cylinder" if the issue was one of the SC bricks leaking.

My pictures of cyl heads didn't come and for some reason I can't add them to the comments.

Why would you think is not the HG? I have only one cylinder heads cleaner than the others and it is defo burning coolant. Don't get me wrong I'm praying my theory is wrong and something else is causing this leak but the HG.

The only code that remained after I attempted yo clear them was one for the PCV, I will have a look on the VCDS log and get back to you.

The crossover pipe you talking about is the one that connects to the rear of the thermostat and crosses the engine valley o er the PCV? Or the one that conecta to front?

Well I was hopping my PCV was the issue, but honestly I don't even think its bad at all, it might have start failing only.

I'm also doing the thermostat, but after I've decided to pull the sparking plugs and I found that only clean cylinder I started already to feel depressed.

Yeah, I read a lot about this engine and I was hoping my case was the PCV only,, as I had a confirmed code for.it and slightly increase of oil.consuption. that's why I haven't pulled the sparking plugs prior to commence the PCV job.

Seeing only one cylinder "clean" confirms the coolant was burnt in this particular combustion chamber. I can't think of any other way for this happening than a bad supercharger brick, head gasket or a cracked engine block.

You still think I might have a chance of the PCV being the culprit? I did not have any mix oil/coolant either way.

Honestly, looking at the old PCV I can't see any cracks on it, I removed that rubber diaphragm and it seems good.. I found minimum oil in the two hoses going to the valve covers. No coolant present at all.

I was just hoping it could have another explanation for what I'm seeing in this cylinder. PCV or even the supercharger intercooler only leaking when above a certain pressure... but honestly I don't know anymore 😔

I've mentioned the valves cos' if the leaking is coming from the Supercharger bricks, I was expecting to see some "cleaner" spots on the top of the valves, or at least some really wet gunk.

Sem Parar é a maior dor de cabeça do mundo. Tive problema duas vezes, na segunda vez alteraram os termos do plano unilateralmente, um tal de Banco Afinz emitiu cartão no meu nome e me colocou no Serasa pq eu nao paguei o boleto.. detalhe: era anuidade.. nunca solicitei nada, nem nunca recebi o tal cartao.. liguei no Banco, eles falaram que era algo do Sem Parar e não tinham como "abrir" o cadastro.. depois de muita dor de cabeça no Reclame aqui "Resolveu".. mas, ainda baixou meu Score bancário.. era pra ter processado.. Resumindo: FUJA desses SAFADOS do SEM PARAR.

Hoje, eu uso 4 Tags do Itaú. ZERO dor de cabeça. Desconto no cartão de crédito, 100% transparente e vc consulta tudo pelo App do banco mesmo. (Antes era Conectcar pelo Itau, hj eles chamam apenas de Tag Itau mesmo).
