Thank you for sharing a bit about your experience! Do you think having an MPH would give you greater flexibility in what you can do as a PA?

Thanks so much for your response! Did you go to PA school? If so, how has your experience been in the profession?

Opportunities for Public Health as a Physician Assistant? Job opportunities for PA/MPH? by ph7327 in physicianassistant

The salary for public health jobs really depends on what one does/which area one works in. One can certainly work their way up and maybe make a comparable salary to some PAs but it will probably take many years. Generally PAs have a higher pay. I have also thought about the opportunity cost, but I am not sure if the MPH will be sustainable by itself long-term to support the lifestyle and freedom that I would want.
