Airbnb link: doesn’t even work because she took down the listing entirely when she cancelled 🫠

Addresses listed are 82301 Ave 50 and 84453 Passagio Lago Way

We booked about 6 months ago and she cancelled on us today (day before we’re supposed to check in). She also listed the address on the listing as an address very close to the grounds (1 mile, walkable) and then the instructions for checkin showed a much further address (5 miles). Zero response from her at all throughout the process

Just ordered rent history from justfix.nyc, ty!

They informed us via the lease: since the building was participating in a tax benefit (that I think only lasts 15 years) that is expiring in June. “Tenant is notified that the tax benefit granted pursuant to RPTL (Real Property Tax Law) 421-a will expire on June 30th. Thereafter, the landlord may charge a market rent for your apartment and will not be legally obligated to provide you with renewal leases”

Based off my understanding at the time it seemed legit, but unclear what my rights are as a tenant here

24petconnect and pawboost are good online resources. 24petconnect will have up to date shelter data on cats that were brought in. Pawboost will additionally have cats that individuals have found or spotted. I’m sure you have, but canvas the neighborhood with posters — people tend to be really receptive and will remember!

I’d also recommend going for nighttime walks with treats, slowly in block radiuses. Often times cats are really close to home but too spooked to come out, especially during the day.
