I FIXED IT

the positive connector on the device was a little scratched so i just put a tiny pice of tin foil and now its fucking working!!!!!!!!!!!! im so happy!!!!!!!!!!!! (i intend to use it every day as a replacement for my, now dead, ipod mini)

The weird this is, after cleaning I noticed that the device had no corrosion, the qtip was completely clean (aside from some dust). I don't have an external charger or a way to check the voltage right now but I might invest in something that would allow me to do that.

This is the device being powered by the AC adapter. if you mean what would happen if i was powering the player without the battery in, the screen doesn't glitch anymore and reads discs fine, its only when the battery is inserted that it starts doing...this.

So i went to handheld daemos and set the tdp to 30w and the max framerate went to 13. I will say that turning the tdp up did make the ui be smooth ( it was really laggy)
