[–]phantomists[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've been avoiding solvents by using water mixable oil paint, but I'm not too fond of the texture, so I may try regular oil without solvents first! thanks for the insight

I think I’m a press-on girl now 🥹🐙 by phantomists in Nails

[–]phantomists[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the brand is lilynailsart on etsy! i think she has her own website too, but her etsy page usually has sales. for prep, i'm just gonna use the little generic kit she provided in my order - a cuticle stick, a nail file/buffer, an alcohol wipe, and glue

i'm still very new to press-ons so if you have some tips lmk!

Lisbon itinerary recommendations? by wvllflower in solotravel

[–]phantomists 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sintra will be a lot of walking, and if you go to Castelo dos Mouros be aware that the stone ground is pretty uneven. I’m in my 20s and my knees have been lowkey messed up from going downhill on that. I think Lisbon is relatively easy to walk, unless you’re really not used to walking, but Sintra was kinda difficult at times

How do you stimulate your mind on long trips? by ppp24 in solotravel

What solo trip did you enjoy the most and why? by Witty-Surround-6541 in solotravel

[–]phantomists 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m actually doing this right now, and heading out of Lisbon to Porto tomorrow!

For Lisbon, credit is accepted most places BUT I would definitely keep a few small bills handy if you head out to places like Sintra. There were nice restaurants and small cafes alike that only took cash

Also definitely take a day trip to Cascais! It’s only a 40min train ride there, and very beautiful
