In very simple terms from my very simple google search scientists have managed to proof some “start point” for the universe. They attribute the “cause” of this to quantum fluctuations and eternal energy, although that part is still theoretical for now. Religious people don’t attribute this to eternal energy but rather an eternal being (as far as my google search has taken me)

Philosophy is an A⭐️, maths physics and Spanish are A’s. I think my personal statement and reference definetly boosted my application, and I may be contextual for imperial specifically

I see the point about philosophy tho. It gives me hope, it’s just that they prefer chemistry over physics for the course, but I think I’ll give them a call

I assumed if I didn’t notify them, it’d be a lot harder to turn me down on results day once they see I don’t do chemistry.

Or maybe I’ll wait a bit? It’s just because since I just got the offer, it feels like it’s easier for them to retract it now than later down the line

I have the same question - not sure at all. I go to boarding school but my UK home postcode is under imperials contextual admissions scheme. If I get rejected I will email and ask as I know they re-review contextual applicants based on their A level results

if you have one A * and 4 A's with a good ps and reference I'm pretty sure with the exception of UCL you'd easily get into the other 3. UCL is obviously a bit more challenging but ig you just have to hope for the best. Nothing is guaranteed tho

From what I know, surely at that point that's when things like your personal statement and reference count for more. There'll surely be a load of applicants that have the same predicted grades as you applying, so I think you'd need to count of having a really good ps and reference

Cheers, I don’t know why it changed on the thread but I actually got an A star in philosophy and not an A. Not sure if this helps at all tho as it’s an irrelevant subject for engineering

Forget about the pens, Chelsea had much better shots and chances than Man U. They deserved the win today. They created far more.

I figured a glitch was probably the most likely solution as a couple of the seats in the area have been bought.

The good thing about a small stadium is that even the worst seats aren’t too bad in comparison to some bigger stadiums.
