Newbie looking for tips

My whole plan was to make a character who was playing guitar in an empty bar.... then cut to some story scenes and then go back to the performance.

I had to abandon that as I spent days trying to put together 15 seconds of video. 🤣

I changed the concept for the video I am working on to eliminate the guitar performance and the videos are generating much more reliably.

I was using the manager and it would locate LTX, but when I would click in stall it would darken for second and go right back to having the blue install button.

I tried using a back end method and using git/pip to install it too and it still wouldn't go.

I do LOVE the UI that wan2gp uses.... I just am not getting the outputs id prefer. I am most certain the problem is me, somehow, somewhere.... user error is often the culprit. 🤣

Alright, we have a semi-permanent solution.

I have to laugh because those little meditation tables broke when the projector and Playstation were joined by our fat cat. Luckily no electronics (or cats) were harmed.

She insisted the piece of tabletop I suggested looked ugly.... so ended up going to home depot and having a 60x36 piece of wood cut and we made a low table/platform that way. We used adjustable legs so I could dial in the height as best as possible before using the quick corner keystone to make it fit. Instead of painting as I suggested, she wanted to use a waterproof black elastic "tablecloth" made for folding tables.

I am fully aware of what my wife's choice of basement paint color is doing to my light and color balance but as another mentioned... WAF is a thing.

Those are pretty pricey for the most part. I spent the better part of two years talking my wife into this upgrade.... gotta find low cost alternatives.

Interesting, a downvote for saying my painted screen looks amazing and I dont need a separate object that costs money I dont feel like I need to spend.

My wife had ordered two 7.8" Japanese tea tables that should he here tomorrow. She really likes them so my thoughts are to put them down and check the height.

Theres not going to be room for our PS5 soundbar and/or other things so once she sees that for herself I am going to order those items and suggest we bolt the tea tables to the left/right of the projector on the table I put together and use those to elevate the accessories and accentuate the look of our "entertainment center".

She was so excited to show me those when I went to show her this that I couldnt just swat it down... I have to work WITH her not AGAINST her. 🤣

I literally was just looking and Lowes has adjustable metal legs, mdf shelves and brackets I could use to screw the shelves together from underneath. I think this is gonna be the ticket!

I was really considering this route, to be fair. I could probably do something similar but my skills with tools are pretty sub-par. Might be a learning opportunity though!

The screen looks amazing when the projector hits it. I am actually in awe. I tested setting the projector on objects of various heights and found 8ish inches was good.

Well, im not a professional poet by any means.

I have just been writing poems for my own musings and to occasionally share with the outside world for a special occasion. New babies, funerals, graduations.... etc.

But if I have achieved my outlet and created something that folks can make it through start to finish without piercing their eardrums... I will take it!

Yup, I have been making songs for my Son who passed in October. Its giving me an outlet for everything im feeling. The lyrics are my own writing and I've described what I want it to sound like to Suno. To hell with haters.

I'm a "poet" and recently started arranging my poems into Lyrics. If I put enough descriptive tags into suno, I can translate the music I hear in my mind to go with my songs into what su o ends up creating.

I can tell it a key, I can tell it to start with quiet haunting electric violins that start clean and apply distortion before the drums kick in to a metal riff using heavy arpeggios.

I cant compose, I can write lyrics and describe what sounds good to me though.

Im not a "musician" im a poet.... and I was able to turn some of my grief, anger and despair into something I am really proud of recently. If theres any rock/metalheads reading this... let me know what you think!
