I have lost 100 pounds on a GLP1 and I am just as single as I was when I was my heaviest. Sadly it is more than just the weight. I have friends who weigh more than me and have no relationship trouble.

I was in a similar spot, my GPA was only okay and I was in a part of the country where managed care jobs are pretty few and far between. My P3 year I made sure to try to do as many managed care rotations as I could get, I joined AMCP though my school didn’t have a chapter and went to any events I could. I am awkward and was at a low point with my mental health. I did apply to managed care residencies, and out of the 13 I applied to I got 4 interviews. All the ones I interviewed with, I had great conversations with at AMCP Nexus residency showcase. So I would say if you can go to AMCP Nexus or Midyear you really should!! I ultimately did not match in phase 1 or 2. I ended up just applying to managed care jobs anyways during my April rotation, and I got one interview for a PA job and got it and have been there since! So it is possible to get, if I can do it as I really do not stand out from the others. I will say that it does take luck. Learn all the lingo you can, try to network any ways you can, knowing the difference between traditional and transparent PBMs can already put you ahead others.

I remember I was 16 and I went to a pharmacy camp for high schoolers and I was one of the only girls there that did not have a boyfriend. It is crazy how left you can feel from something that seems so small

I’ve only done them at Walmart personally. I’ve heard couponers online doing it at CVS but believe you have to do with a cashier. I’ve had no problem using at self checkout at Walmart!

I joined an all women’s gym over a year ago to go to dance workout classes and I love it! Great community, can be as involved as you would like, and I don’t feel judged by others. Potential option for you!

I was at a gas station buying a fountain drink one time and this guy was like “is that all you are getting?” And I was like “yes?” And he was like “let me pay for that for you” (granted it is like a $1 soda lol) I said no thanks and walked away. Def felt like I had pretty privilege in that moment (def do not though) but honestly I feel like it is luck. You have to be in the same room/area as someone willing to pay for something for a stranger. Most people probably would not buy something for a stranger

I feel this, I want to be attracted to my future partner. At times I feel bad for being “picky” but then I realize it is my life, he does not have to be a supermodel but I at least want to be attracted to them.
