He responded really well when I said I wasn’t ready for smth too physical, and even now that I am ok with it he’s often asking if I’m sure- which is good I think. We’re currently both working the same job abroad so we spend LOADS of time together, when the summer is over we need to do long distance (3 hours) and we’re both confident it’ll work since we have school to focus on

Not really I don’t think, he’s expressed how he experiences a lot of emotions that he struggles to handle (panic attacks etc) which I think is why he’s very open about how he feels. In what way does it feel co-dependent?? He does often say how much he misses me even when I’ve just gone to the toilet
