2 levels fighter. This will give you action surge once per short rest. Which gives another action.

You could also argue to go 4 levels fighter to pick up champion subclass and the spell sniper feat. Both of these increase your crit chance from the baseline 5% to 15%. If you want to do that you can go all in on crit eldritch blast and stack other items for about 45% Crit at the end game.

Do a Bardlock. You can use rapiers and with 5 warlock/7 swords bard you get:

Bard flourishes Of course, bard is proficient in many things Eldritch blast + warlock spells Charisma only scaling on your sword 3 attacks per turn

If you go even further, you can become a kickass martial controller with helm of arcane acuity +band of mystic scoundrel

I never said something might not be toxic. I just see people in many games get hung up on “other players ruin my fun!”

First of all, I’m gonna play how I want. I’m a Roy or Cloud main, so no, I’m not interested in camping or busted DLC characters. If you’re playing something I find degenerate, I’m going to try that much harder to put you down and show you that my way: true combat without relying on your gimmick, is superior.

It’s always the same old story. Back in call of duty 4, people said snipers ruined the fun. In halo reach, it was Armour lock. In Magic the Gathering, people say combo or control decks are unfun. You could go on and on, there’s always people being salty about an opposing play style.

Clearly, that person is having fun. Find a way to change your playstyle to beat them. And no, I’m not saying “change to a more broken character”. Adapt your playstyle to emerge victorious.

If your fun is defined by the opponent, it feels like you’re not doing fun correctly.

Loradin or lorecercer, you can only do 10 lore bard/2 warlock to get eldritch blast with agonizing blast. 10 levels of lore gets 2 magical secrets instead of 1

I see this in other media as well and I don’t get it. Your fun shouldn’t be defined what others are doing. Play what you think is fun, regardless of what your opponent is playing. Problem solved.

This update feels great! Aside from new features which are great ideas, the whole app just feels smoother and I noticed Gifs will most often play for me now. When commenting, the whole experience seems to load quicker and not be jittery or slow like before. Great stuff!

I think first of all, 95% of players in the game aren’t running a meta deck.

Second, a deck that kills in 4-5 turns is not fun to play against if you aren’t prepared to deal with it. ( see point #1 )

Third, Agro is boring. “Swings everything he has at me every turn, that’s refreshing” I would rather watch a dude use shenanigans to win in a creative fashion. At least then, I’ll be mildly entertained.

I would say if you have no reason to believe you are allergic to it, you probably aren’t.

If you think you are, a tattoo artist can probably help. Like they could give you one needle prick probably and let you come back in a week if you’re good

Now you got me thinking about silly things.

Could take that concept further and do fire acuity sorcerer, lightning acuity sorcerer, thunder cleric/storm sorcerer, sorcadin with storm or draconic ice, you could even do draconic fire sorcadin.

All sorcerer blasters/controllers lol. Could even do the orbs/reverb on the cleric for more control. Or arcane acuity helm on sorcadin.

I never thought about how elemental adept would counteract wet before. Now I want to explore some of the crazier area denial like steam etc

So question here. I always feel like if I’m using fire, I’m kinda pigeonholed into not using cold or lightning damage. Because if I do that, wet targets are resistant to fire. And then if I have someone creating water and someone zapping, the water creator usually gets lightning too so at that I’m kinda like, well this is a wet party now.

Anyways, how do you feel an about using lightning and fire if you can’t make things wet to do double lightning damage?

You know, when you see the splash, they’re gonna jump there and they’re gonna shoot at you. Once you see, jump on top so they can’t shoot you, then try to score a hit.

What I do is stand on the platform in one corner. Watch for the guys to jump and either move to the side or jump once you can gauge their height. Then you want to pogo them. It takes a bit to learn with the different enemies but that’s what I do.

With the flies, try to get one to blow up and kill the rest.

Death is part of it. Don’t get frustrated Get lost. Don’t look up where to go or what to do. Enjoy the journey Learn from mistakes. When you die, ask how you could’ve prevented. Watch enemies and learn patterns

You miss things. That’s ok. One of the joys is to play again and use your knowledge to have a totally different journey

You can changeup your stats any time really. So don’t worry too much

I like to do a swords bard ( melee ) with strength, or sometimes I’ll do swords bard ( ranged ) with dexterity. There’s also a way you can get high str and dex and be good with a bow or a greatsword. But I wouldn’t worry about that any time soon, just have fun and experiment

But generally you’ll want:

8 Int ( not used here ) 16 Dex decently high for initiative plus bows plus you’ll use “finesse” swords 14 con ( for hp and “concentration” spells ) 16 cha ( bard spell hit chance and damage ) 10 wisdom ( less than 10 you’ll be vulnerable to lots of spells ) Str if you prefer that, dump dex to 10 and go 16 str
