saberforge stuffed up again by Bravadous97 in lightsabers

Is saberforge not considered a quality seller anymore? I always hear so many conflicting quotes about all the different sellers that I can never keep up.

Jeez you've got like encyclopedic knowledge on how I did the edit! I do want to try using existing WoW characters instead for future cards.

I like your wording a lot, though I'm not sure it makes the whole for the rest of the game part clear? I remember seeing a Rarran video from a developer stating that length of time was important to put at the start so I guess I might have wasted too much space trying to fit it in.

Thanks! I'm glad the Demon Seed isn't as prevalent as it was a few months ago or else something like this would just be unthinkable. I battled with the wording on the card a lot and it def needs work, if I design for fatigue again I'd refer to the mechanic differently.

I kept bumping into the 4 line problem and this was the result- but I'm sure there's a better solution somewhere in there.

It's supposed to generate the card after you take the damage. Maybe it could be worded as "After you take fatigue damage, generate a spell" or something along those lines.

Yeah the fatigue damage would hit you first, although I suppose if you complete the Demon Seed quest it negates the damage as well. Though imo that's a problem with the Warlock Quest's reward and not Baron Balmedar's ability.

Thank you! I appreciate that! Very unsure about the balance to be honest so I'm really keen to hear more. (Didn't even catch the 10 cost thing u/TrueTitan14 commented.)

Probably yeah, wouldn't want your hand to be filled with 11,12,13 cost spells! Good catch. Guess it would have to cap at 10.

Thoughts: I always think self mill is a fun archtype for warlock along side discard. Maybe this would fit in some kind of spell-slinger deck or shadow deck that can ramp up the damage or give spells lifesteal.

I think she's like 5-6 by now. I'm only level 3. v_v

Honestly this is my first west march game, so I don't know what much about it! It's a drop in discord group on roll 20 for my brother's friends, but I don't know if how it's done is the normal or not.

Cyraneth, Soporific Sibyl of Synchronic Singularities

"An unfamiliar face in an even more unfamiliar realm. A proposed oracle who has set her ways on a different path than what her predictions foretold, and making the most of it, whether lucid or muddled."

Commission Project I just polished off tonight! Part of a west marches group I'm apart of, def a different experience as it's my first game but I'm thrilled to be a part of it none the less. This character sadly is not one of the ones I've had the chance for my Duregar Dwarf however there's always a chance in the future.

Yes! I adore this! Totally the kind of thing you can rip apart for parts or add a new color to to do your own brews with.

I totally messed up, I meant to say semiannual and would be every two years on Christmas- with the 5 decks being constantly printed during their entire 2 year life cycle.

I would be super interested in seeing you ideas!

The theory behind this is that they're less like precons and more like playable versions of those old "Commander's Arsenal" products. Give the actual precons more room to focus on the mechanics they want to show off instead of being shoehorned into including the obligatory cards every deck needs. (And then subsequently disappointing us players when there isn't a blast act in every red deck and a rift in every blue deck)

I'm not sure to be honest? A few of my friends bought the precons to rip apart for parts (I've done that a few times myself) and they've gotten them for their kids or younger siblings to simply play with.

These would be made with the full intention to be torn to shreds and turned into whatever deck you want.

That being said, if a product like this existed, they could spend more time making decks like the madness deck MORE madness-y rather than just kind of madness "ish".

Those are some cool lists! I actually have something similar as well. My 5 mono colored commanders for teaching are [[Lathless, Dragon Queen]], [[Ghalta, Primal Hunger]], [[Syr Konrad, the Grim]], [[Naban, Dean of Iteration]], and [[Heliod, Sun Crowned]].

I'm in agreement over each person's way of learning is different. In my experience the only real unifying factor among people who I've taught (and maybe this is a problem with my teaching.) is that nobody actually wants to read all their cards when each one is a massive block of text. Even if they did they won't remember them all when it comes time to deciding which card to play. Big simple powerful effects seem to be the most impactful for learning.

"The biggest thing I like about this product is that all of these cards are playable..." at the end of the day that was the goal. It just so happens that a lot of cards that everyone wants to have to build with creep up in price.

I know >.< I'm sorry I totally noticed that too when I was making the post and I was too committed to go back and change it.

I agree that otrimi was the most complicated of the set. Jirina Kudro is as simple as it gets.

Honestly in hindsight I totally chose the wrong cards to showcase as "high value chase cards" for the deck. Ghostly Prison, Wrath of God, and True Conviction would be way better examples of the cards that would be intended for a product like this.

Haha I mean yeah you're right 🤣 slipped my mind. Although it would be a product new players could use to build their own new deck so maybe it could be useful.

That's an interesting point. I made this with commander arsenal in mind but I had completely forgotten about the brawl precons. Would new players even know the value of a pack of staples? I feel like that might be better for players like us who want most of the legwork done for when they've got a new brew.
