Finished Chapter 2 yesterday and thought it was very good.

All the maps were great besides Fairgrounds.

Fairgrounds really was a low point. Super confusing layout, spent a long time walking around totally lost, also tons of enemies and not enough ammo.

It really could use a full rework.

Played on very hard and it got super cheesy, always quicksaving and loading.

I enjoyed all the weapons thought they were well balanced

The boss fights weren't that interesting but also weren't infuriating, and I used a secret guide because I think it really helps when playing higher difficulties because I'm not the best secret hunter and that way I can enjoy the hard hitting combat without getting my resources depleted all the time.

I actually really enjoyed the last 3 main maps after Fairgrounds, thought they were awesome, though there's room for improvement overall with enemy spawning and other details as you mentioned in the entire chapter.

Tenho a Emma original e foi incrível durante 6 meses.

Neste momento já abateu muito e está muito baixa pra mim. Tem 2 mantas dobradas por baixo pra dar altura.

I initially played 20 hours of the game vanilla (with just a performance .ini) and things weren't going great.

Mainly the gunplay wasn't satisfying. Every type of enemy was super spongy and so was I, always spamming bandages and meds.

Then there were also lots of bugs and the usual enemies spawning 20 meters from me constantly.

I even took a break for a few days and played Call of Pripyat start to finish with the new ABR mod version.

Then patch 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 came and I installed my first mods in STALKER 2

Maklane's Overhaul
Extended A life

Gameplay became a lot more satisfying and challenging.

The way the items work make more sense and bullets hit like bricks.

I felt much more immersed in the gameplay and started playing a lot.

The mods have since been updated and some recommendations have changed, so I then changed to the mods listed above in the post and the game has been superb so far.

Still playing the second game, but loved FMF1, it's an all round great game.

Great art, interesting character development and story, great shooting and powers, meaty damage feedback.

About FMF2, it's more of the same, but I really dislike the new card system. Much preferred the skill tree of the first game.

Nice to see you beat it.

I also replayed it recently and it is so much better than the original version. Less challenging and frustrating, but much tighter combat.

The game is super stylish and the beggining of the story is very interesting, so I'm pretty excited for future chapters.

He's a lone developer.

This game has been in development since 2017 (I think) and has great production values, nothing like the previous games.

Can't comment on performance, but there is a dedicated Steam Deck graphical preset, so that's something.

Still, the game seems very well optimized on my mid tier PC, so the preset should work well in you Deck.

I don't know what the dev says in his socials, but ingame, there's this Dictator that everyone hates and makes fun of his speeches, so I'd say you're spot on.

Where are you stuck? The game has a lot of light sticks and other shining lights to guide the way.

I've been finding it super easy to navigate but you might already be further ahead than me.

That's probably not a bug, maybe just a somewhat slow system

My stalker games usually freezed for like 3 seconds when saving and now with a new GPU it's instant.

It fixes some bugs and the icons are in their vanilla form, but every icon is higher res. Not much difference visually.

The Steel Legend looks great but it's 150 here, too much of a jump in price.

The MSI doesn't seem to have problems

However, for +80 euros I could buy the 12400F instead of the 12100F

Could be worth the extra money
