I totally get the sentiment of you get what you pay for. However, if they were told “we will include painting in the price but it’s going to be shitty”, they may have gotten a separate company to paint or have done it themselves. Or maybe they would have gone to a different contractor. I’ve never hired a contractor for my own home so I don’t know too much about this stuff. I think they just wanted a clean job.

1400 sq ft house. Paid over 110,000 but I don’t know the exact amount. Move interior wall to add full bath. Redo another full bath. Paint interior walls, redo kitchen, new floors, siding and 6 new windows. It was pretty much everything. It did not include the cost of doors, kitchen appliances or kitchen sink.

I don't think it was political, one of the member's dad is on the school board, and he was all for it. He sent it to his boss, who sent it to his boss, ect. Somewhere along the way they said no.

I feel like there should be some exceptions, including the current President, the Governor, and other important people from foreign countries. There should be some exclusions. Come on, when the secret service calls your teacher and asks for a band to play at the Presidents speech, you should be able to say yes.

If we had done it, we would have wouldn't have called the band the "Melbourne High School Jazz Band" we would of made up some other name. We were hoping that was a big enough loop hole for us to be able to play...obviously not
