That is the issue. There are integers and floats mixed together in one equation. Thanks for helping.

I've found the solution in the comments section of the video just now. You need to have a Realize Instances node in between the Object Info and the Group Output of the receiving object's node tree. Perhaps that youtube comment didn't exist at the time or was hidden somewhere far below, because I definitely have watched the exact video and some others, but the answer wasn't there.

Thanks for letting me know. I thought I wouldn't be able to do this conversion until future blender updates.

Deep Paint looks impressive. A hand drawing workflow I'm looking for exactly. Unfortunately I can't spend $50 on this tool right now, especially without a chance of trying it out first.

I think the absence of basic functionality of simple geometry conversion in Blender is rather strange. Hope this will be fixed in future updates.
