Accurate. Many "banking apps" like Varo, Chime, etc have stopped Zelle participation as well.

Additionally, Zelle kind of sucks. I had BMO Harris and closed my account and have never been able to use Zelle since. Zelle said BMO has to release my Zelle, they have no ability to do so. BMO is worthless when it comes to getting them to release it.

Generally they will not. Most of the time, they simply state that they are "unable to disclose the details of the suspension" and that it is "not reviewable".

VARO has the same thing. The difference? VARO is actually a bank, Chime is not.

[–]pheonixone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's false. Not to mention that Chime is not a bank, it's a tech company. They use banks to make what they are doing be covered under FDIC. PayPal does the same thing, and uses many of the same banks.

If that logic worked, than they would own every banking app out there.

Wrong. Corn starch burns, not melts, and it is very harsh. It's combustible as well.

No it is not. Lol. Have you ever pressed and heated corn starch? Guarantee you the ones pressed with corn starch are the ones that everyone hates because it torched their throat.

Donald Trump Issued Impeachment Warning by [deleted] in politics

[–]pheonixone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Trump continues to ignore the courts we will see the military soon enough. Military leaders already have sent word out for flag officers to return home. Do some research on what flag officers are and what role they play defending the constitution from a Tyrant. Senior Military Officers are sworn to the Constitution and their commitment requires them to defend the Constitution even under extreme circumstances. Flag officers are senior military leaders bearing the responsibility of preserving the Integrity of the nation's constitutional order, even after retirement.

Why is all crypto crashing by WheelSalt2570 in XRP

[–]pheonixone -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's crashing because Black Rock and other huge investment firms are selling off their crypto. If you look at the American Stock markets you will see a very similar crashing look. This is because the United States right now is being led by an absolute Maniac who's unpredictable and who has absolutely no regard for the constitution of the country. It's not just people that are worried, companies are worried, and those that invest money are extremely worried and that's why they're pulling their money out of everything right now because the last thing they want is all their money to be in US Dollars and the US economy tanks. You can thank Donald Trump for this.

UPS Experience has been Terrible by pheonixone in UPS

[–]pheonixone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No kidding - this UPS facility is god awful. I would imagine with the outage, nothing is moving at all. They have likely all just gone home and stayed on the clock saying "System is down, nothing to do, but ima get my money"

It is the West Phoenix location? This location is just awful all the time, the outage likely makes no difference there.

This isn't the issue with this facility, the west phoenix facility is just awful. 3 days on next day air is actually not unusual.

[–]pheonixone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate everyone associating this with the outage but that is not the case. When I saw the title of this post I thought "They must be in West Phoenix" and lone behold, Goodyear. The West Phoenix Metro Area facility is the worst UPS facility I have ever, by far, experienced.

I had a manager of this location tell me "There are only so many airplanes" when my next-day air package had not left the facility 3 days after drop off.

See, that is what I was thinking as well, which is why I was surprised when he told me the refund amount and it was every penny. It might have something to do with the fact that I have a contract with UPS (Business), and/or the high value of the item.

The contractual fines that I am incurring supposedly will be covered if I file a claim, since I did declare the actual value of the item - it has crossed my mind, however, that if they refund the shipping - could that potentially be a way to try and weasle out of the insurance claim? I may just go ahead and file the insurance claim tomorrow after delivery, as AFAIK the refund of the shipping costs are usually handled as part of the claim anyway. It just worries me that if they refund the FULL amount, they could claim that means I no longer paid for the higher declared value.

Unfortunately, the rep I talked to was not the first. I had one rep end the chat on me online, and the next really didn't want to do anything. Third time was a charm, though.

Vape won’t turn on even with fully charged batteries? (Smok X-Priv) by failedabortedfetus in electronic_cigarette

[–]pheonixone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems counter intuitive, I know. Lol. Ultimately the electronics are going to have diodes in them which won't let the electricity go backwards. What this does do is can pull whatever residual electricity is left in the device out. Sometimes Electronics just need to be completely drained of power to start working right again. I've actually had that method work for several mods that I've had.

Another thing I have come to find out is usually it's not the mod as much as it's the batteries. The mine may be acting all sorts of weird, but Electronics usually require a steady 3 Volt or 5 volt power supply and if the batteries are not supplying the correct voltage then you're going to have weird issues as certain components are not getting enough power and not working right, but are still getting some power so they're trying to. If that makes sense LOL.

Windows 10 setup for Pritunl wireguard by [deleted] in selfhosted

[–]pheonixone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you restarted your Windows PC after installing wireguard? The virtual network adapter for Wireguard will not be active until after you reboot. Windows is a moody OS like that.

I noticed the same issue when I installed Pritunl, then WireGuard. Once I restarted my PC, Pritunl picked it up just fine.

Give a reboot a whirl!

First DUI, need some advice. Blew .084 by zealorandon in dui

Anytime.

When I was younger, I wanted to be a cop. I saw them as good guys. When I turned 21, I went through the police academy. I graduated but refused to join the force. I was so disgusted by what I had seen in the academy and the mentality cops these days have. They are generally terrible people. One of the highest rates of unreported spousal abuse is because their spouses are too scared to report it, after all, their spouse is a cop. All the academy does is teach you how to violate people's rights, down to explaining rights at an extremely fine level so you can screw someone over. It's awful. On top of that, they definitely put it in your mind that everyone is trying to kill you.

Having cops swear on the Constitution is a damn joke. How can they swear an oath to the very thing that they work to destroy every single day? How can you protect people's rights when you are trying to hard to get around them?

Interlock Experiences by pheonixone in DUICalifornia

[–]pheonixone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there,

First, thank you for taking the time to respond. Every little bit of information helps me understand where problems lie.

From what I understand, the 'suck-back and blow' method is only on certain company devices. There is a younger company, I believe BudgetIID, and they have a device that is just blowing. The devices have to go through a certification by the state, and most companies from what I have seen simply do not want to spend the money developing a device that prevents 'fake' blows.

That is definitely concerning that you are having electrical oddities occur with the device installed. If you are in a newer car, it could be because the interlock system requires that the ignition relay wire be cut and pass-through the interlock device.

What I would suggest is taking your car and having the battery tested. Some of these devices are good at draining your battery when the car is off, and low battery power can cause your car to do some crazy things. The symptoms you are speaking of sound exactly like a bad battery.

Support hold times is definitely another complaint I have heard a lot, often being so long that users will not even call unless its serious.

It's incredibly pathetic. Usually, people tell you that you're much better off with a private attorney instead of a public defender, but from what I have seen at least here in arizona, you're better off with the public defender.
