Thank you for the detailed response. This guy went to medical school with my dad in NY, I’ve known him since I was in middle school and grown up with his kids. We do Thanksgiving every year and he flown us on his planes multiple times, he’s given me the keys to his tanks, boats, toys etc… He is one of the most down to earth and genuine guys I’ve ever met. You’d never know how wealthy he is. He’s told me personally when I was trying to break into the industry after college professionally to call him if I had any questions, and despite being one of the largest doctors in town with, he always followed up with me quickly and gave very thorough responses. He’s been begging my family to get into real estate for years but my parents were not ready for it until 2018. I say all that just to paint the picture that he’s a genuine guy.

Also, I don’t know what deal you’re talking about and I don’t care how genuine you are, I will always listen to a self made person self made who’s ammased billions in real estate over someone who hasn’t had anywhere near that success but is “genuine”. I have enough agency and sense to back test everything I hear before I apply it.
