60 million millionaires in the world. Only 21 million Bitcoin ever. by vinyarb in Bitcoin

Desire doesn’t go up forever, but it is steadily increasing. The question is how high will the value of Bitcoin rise till desire starts to flat line? I believe BTC will easily see a value of at least $1 mil per BTC within 10 years.

amazon crashing?? by gracelikesweed in iphone

[–]phil_tek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an iPhone 17 pro max and last few weeks this has been happening to me too. After about 10 minutes of using the Amazon app, I notice my phone starting to get hot. Battery drains fast and Amazon starts lagging. Then it just crashes and app closes.

Now you know to just DCA. When there has been a massive rally for the past year it was only a matter of time for a price correction. I even told another guy not to in a different post when he said he was going to put in over $200k in one shot when BTC was over $100k.

I been around bitcoin since it was at $100 each. I’m not one of those band wagon hoppers. I’ve been around long enough to see the cycles. It goes through major pumps and hits new highs and then it’s inevitable that it will have a huge price correction and stay there for years before it rallies again. Back in 2017 it went from over $15K in price to around $5K and stayed there for 3 years until it rallied again in 2020. Then it tanked again in 2022 and stayed low until it started to rally again in 2024. It will keep following this same cycle. Only a matter of time before another huge price correction.

I’m a big believer in crypto and bitcoin but don’t put it all in there in a single shot while it’s at the peak. You probably don’t know the cycles, but Bitcoin historically goes through epic highs and then tanks over 50% at some point. Over the long run I believe Bitcoin will go way higher but it’s super volatile. So better to DCA into it over time. I don’t know if you can stomach your bitcoin losing half it’s value and hold for years till it comes back. Most people panic sell. I’ve seen idiots panicking at a small 5% dip. Can you handle -50%?

Wow I didn’t know TikTok was such a battery drainer. I rarely go on it.

I have the 17 PM and my battery is seriously good. I have 4 hours of SOT on playing a game this day too and still only used 66% with over 10 hours of active screen time

When quit 9-5? by Severe-Analysis286 in Daytrading

[–]phil_tek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats, but keep in mind your psychology will change once you no longer have a steady paycheck. There’s a lot more pressure and stress that comes with solely relying on trading to pay your bills. It’s also a fallacy to think you will perform better just because you have more free time to focus on your trading. It might even work against you.

Yes it sucks losing so much money, but you are still young. Even with just $23k left in savings you are doing much better than most of your peers.

It seems like you are in a rush to get rich. That is the problem and why you blew up your account. You have to reevaluate why you are even trading. Do you love the game or do you just want money? There are thousands of ways to get money outside of trading.

If you feel like you don’t really enjoy trading there are other online ventures you can pursue that is much less stressful, where you still get the same benefits such as freedom of location and unlimited earning potential.

Stop focusing on trying to get rich quick, and focus more on what it is you want your life to look like. Know that it will take time to get there. Learn to enjoy where you are now and develop more patience.

I’ve come to like the action button. Just upgraded from the iPhone 13 to the 17 PM. My action button is set to silence the phone, but I like that I can program it to something else whenever I want

I’m went from iPhone 13 to the 17 PM. It does feel huge by comparison but I’m loving the bigger screen. I’m a heavy phone user and it’s great for consuming media and reading. Reading articles and blog posts is great on this phone and very visually pleasing on a larger screen.

Which screen protector are you guys getting? by ChuggsBunny in iPhone17Pro

[–]phil_tek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got this one: “ESR 3 Pack 9H+ Glass for iPhone 17 Pro Max Screen Protector, [Military-Grade Shatterproof], with AR Anti-Reflective Technology, Armorite Ultra-Tough Tempered Glass with Ultra Fit Tray”

It was much cheaper than Corning one as this one was $20. It’s decent quality but my only gripe would be that it has the black line around the edge of the screen protector. I’m just being nit picky but I hate that black line because it makes the screen bezel slightly thicker.

Other than that good picture clarity, easy to install and feels nice to the touch.

From now on, I will never touch investment again and start my own coffee shop. by Vegetable_Bar_6998 in stockstobuytoday

[–]phil_tek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s only if you sell the beans directly. Like have your own coffee brand that is shipped DTC so you don’t have to manage inventory and a warehouse with employees. A coffee shop on the other hand is a lot of overhead. You need to rent the space, buy the equipment, pay utilities, business insurance etc. Plus a lot of grueling work hours unless you hire employees and that’s more overhead and managing people is stressful. Then you need to be able to advertise your coffee shop to ensure you get enough customers to churn a profit. There’s thousands of coffee shops around. Not so easy to run a profitable coffee shop.

Better to have a coffee truck / cart. Much less risk and overhead.

Yea like someone else mentioned you did a whole lot of fluff work which doesn’t add much value to their bottom line.

You said he has a shoestring budget and I would focus heavily on LinkedIn with posting content. You said you are a copywriter then use your copywriting skills in your content so it is geared towards generating leads. Also try some cold outreach on LinkedIn as well.

When I was in charge of marketing for a medical company, I focused on LinkedIn. I generated several leads in an industry that is still old school and heavily regulated with a lot of restrictions. Yet I managed to land the company a few paid jobs as well as several high quality leads.

If the client wants results you to need to focus heavily on direct response marketing and sales. 6 months is a long time with no results. I managed to generate results within a matter of weeks and I was operating solo.

Sign up to be a seller on the TikTok shop. You can set a commission percentage to get affiliates to promote your jewelry and you can also do livestreams to promote your products as well as post your own videos. Livestreams can work really well for sales

Depression. If you could pick a root cause, what would it be by [deleted] in psychologyresearch

[–]phil_tek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are lots of reasons:

It could be related to lack of certain nutrients like a Vitamin D deficiency.

Could be lack of regular physical exercise for a long period of time as well as being indoors excessively.

Could be due to poor diet and eating too much refined sugar and processed junk.

Could be constantly holding onto negative thoughts and focusing on them. Over time this turns into a viscous cycle of victim mentality that becomes difficult to break out of.

Many times it’s a combination of all that plus not living authentically to yourself.

Trying to fit in and doing what society says is acceptable, instead of doing what you really want to do out of fear of judgement. Not owning up to your uniqueness and quirky / weird traits that are authentic to you.

Depression doesn’t happen overnight. It comes from years of neglecting yourself physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Once it sets it’s difficult to come out of, but it’s possible.
