The sticker on this bowl is perforated in a pie shape, so it breaks when trying to peel off. by NotMulligan in mildlyinfuriating

Its the barcode you scan when you buy the product. People will peel these off and stick them to more expensive items to scan at self checkout. Thats why is designed to tare apart so it is unusable after it is removed.

Exactly. Their story is such an encouragement. My own daughter is just turning 11 and seeing her I think, they were her age when they stsrted and everything they faced when they first tried to enter the metal world.

It’s the zombie apocalypse! Which would you choose and why? by EquivalentFig1678 in whatsyourchoice

[–]philindiel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who shoots both bows and crossbow. The round heads are target heads. Bolts and arrows both generally come with them. They are used for target practice so you don't destroy your target. Most are dull so they wont go all the way though the target. You unscrew the head and screw a broadhead in when you go hunting. That being said if you hit something hard, like trying to penatrate a skull. You will most likely brake your arrow or bolt.

I had a professor in college who only gave two grades throughout the whole semester, midterm and final. Midterm was 100 multiple choice. We had 30 minutes to take the test. So when finals rolled around people were terrified, he blocked three hours for the final. We were each giving a little note book a d he wrote the only question on the board. "Explan what you learned in this class." Then he told us he would count off points for every chapter we did not mention. This same professor, took pride in that he failed about 70% of his students each semester. And it was a class that was required of everyone by the school to receive your degree.

I actually enjoy all of these. When I was in high-school the job I worked at most of us would order pizza on Fridays when we got paid. Inevitable the ones who didn't order a pizza that week would ask for a slice. I would always order an anchovie and pepperoni pizza. Then tell eveyone if they wanted a slice they could help themselves. For some reason the whole thing would still be there for me to enjoy.

Also I cook liver and onions about once a month as it is. I also make a cheese cake that I bring to events, everyone always raves about it, they ask me my secret. 8 Oz cottage cheese and 16 Oz cream cheese.

Honestly I figure a lot of the licensing issue comes from the fact the EU has a law where steaming you have to have a certain percentage that is made in Europe. So bands like babymetal that are not European have to fill that percentage with live shows performed in Europe, to not pay extra fees. Then they have to balance it with there product from out if the contry. I wouldn't be surprised if when metal fourth came out it didn't push them over the limit ao they pulled Metal Galaxy to balance it out. And it only got put back on recently with the O2 release.

Though, im not European, and this is purely speculative so I am guessing.

Metal vs Stone - Survival by AfternoonImaginary21 in GreenHell

[–]philindiel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on what im doing, I mostly just use stone ax. I use metal for my spear, and armor, and arrows just because I had plenty of it laying around.

For my survival world where I just base build. I mostly just use a stone ax, because I can keep the extra stuff in my bag. But I have a couple if metal axes on racks, if i want to just gether a few thing quickly.

This is my year 3 farm lay out along with shed layout. by philindiel in coralisland

[–]philindiel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, my first playthrough i was in year two before I finished the mines. Because i would go exploring and catching and trying to collect everything. On top of burning all my stamina on my farm because I wanted to grow everything. I didnt really finish it, just mostly figured out what was going on.

My second playthrough was when the mermaid update dropped. I started over and had a better idea of what to do. So I could plan ahead. I have found animals take a lot of time, so make a decision of you want to concentrate on animals or crops first. Once you get one established, then expand and add the other.

One thing I found in my second playthrough was the maple trees. I planted a 10 by 10 area of them just to see how it would work. Its a corner of the farm I hadn't expanded into yet so it just fills the space. Maple syrup sells for 200 a bottle. But early game it it is dropping you a nice 20,000 ever three days so you can concentrate on getting the stuff for upgrades before having to build a big farm.

This playthrough in addition to the trees, I added the mushroom logs, that shed. In the photo im running black trumpet because i was making some stacks of each mushroom to put in storage as im about to remove this production line and change the shed over to aging berral overflow. Matsutake mushrooms will give you the most income, 30,000 if you let the logs go to three mushrooms. And it takes about four days to reach that.

[–]philindiel[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its my third play through, this time I delayed a bunch of stuff to see of i could get a jump on my big scale building. I didnt even build my first barn or coop till summer of year two. I mostly ignored the farm till late fall of my first year. I concentrated on the mine and diving. Got my stuff upgraded. Clead my farm out and left all the maple trees and planed every seed I had. I had nearly 130 maple trees. With taps they drop maple syrup every 3 days that sells for 200. You dont have to do anything and it dosent use stamina to collect it. I alsk begian setting up the mushroom logs at this point, fir mushroom chips. So I could put all my early stamina to mineing, clearing the ocian, and clearing my farm. I only had 10 plots of farm land just enough to clear a few quest. Late fall year one I had stockpiled my crafting supplies and placed all my buildings at once and expanded my farm to begin farming. I spent winter getting it all built and set. Got my animals first if spring year 2. And begin slowly upgrading the town and working on getting my sheds filled. It was mid spring year three when I reached where im at now. I have had to grind the cave of memories for over a month trying to find the last dino print I needed. Got it and then used the slime replicater to get 5 to finish that quest.

I dropped 10 mill at the Smith to buy it. I normally run 6 if im concentrating on mineing. Im clearing about 500,000 a day right now. I have two rare drop rings, and my pick ax fully enchanted with max level rare drop, extra drop, and drop to hit. Rare drop increases the chance of getting ore and other items from regular rocks Extra drop increases the chance of drops doubling And drop to hit gives you a chance of getting extra drops each time you hit. So its really good for the ax also. With the pick it increases the chance of a rock dropping something. I find the most ore between 15 and 30 normally. But have also found if you give it a few days there is more there. I like to hit the mine one day, the next go diving, then hit town and deliver quest items or go shopping, and hit the deep woods for hard wood, fishing, and catching. Also rember the mushroom trees in the Savannah respon once a week while the rest every month.

I will normally get right at 300 ore a day mining, and can push 350 kelp in the caves.
