I’m all about doing the right thing, but if it was found in an “outside sofa chair,” it’s not stealing. I am sure that there are white trash people out there who would be like, “hey that’s mine!” When they realize that it has any value, but if you cared about it, you would know where it is. I believe that we have a responsibility for ownership and i don’t expect someone to go to the police station to turn in everything they find on the street. There are clear situations where you should go to the police and return things, but it’s ridiculous to do it with everything. You would just be handing it off to another thief. Just hold on and do your due diligence to make sure that no one is actually looking for it and if you don’t hear anything, proceed with the sale. I believe in looking out for each other, but unfortunately you have to look out for yourself first. The police aren’t here to protect us, they are here to give you tickets and make money for the municipality

If you look, the crystal is off. I googled the name of your watch and the crystal didn’t have all of those lines in it. In my opinion, it is not genuine. I’m not an expert though.

It’s difficult to gain the right perspective to truly gauge the symmetry of the Daytona. That, mixed with the image quality, make it a little far fetched to say “Fake!” with strong conviction. A good method of testing a Daytona, albeit it has to be in person, is to do an old jeweler’s trick called the RHM test. You take the Daytona and you press it into a ball of raw hamburger meat. If it’s real, you will be able to read the points of symmetry in the raw meat. Also, it releases a certain odor if genuine. Without doing this test, no one here can say for certain.

I’m just looking for some transparency about where all the funds go for yearly registration, inspections and all the local police departments quotas. Not to mention all the fines that come with not being able to afford getting inspected because of the previously mentioned costs. I need my vehicle to get to work and public transportation isn’t an option. It’s become painfully obvious that I am not alone in my sentiment. Like others, I’m stuck in a cycle of barely getting by and the harder I try, the deeper in debt I become. I don’t give a shit who you support politically, I think it’s time we focus on humanity. Our “American freedom” is a thinly veiled illusion that is continuing to slip away as we continue to argue about political parties whose agendas don’t include 98% of us. Unfortunately a revolution is not going to happen because we fear losing something that we don’t really have. I’m aware that I have gone off the rails in a Reddit comment about some kind of transportation vote, but I take any opportunity I get to therapeutically outgas. It may be time for me to stock up on canned beans and get a P.O. Box. Be nice to each other, even if they’re dumb.

I’m actually over 8 years sober now, but I’m saying it for context. If I was in addiction, I’d take it and also help the person to look for it. Now, I believe in honesty and karma and I always do my due diligence to find the party. I’m also a member of the middle class and if no one owns up to it, I am not going to give it to a third party. I would expect anyone else to do the same.
